Yeah, the body investigating a bombing has asked people who got stuff in the mail from the bomber to contact them.

I'm not sure why the FBI is going to such an extent to find this guy's bizarre CT beliefs. I think we get it. Lone guy, crazy as a loon, becomes a suicide bomber but not one trying to kill anyone or accomplish much of anything except blowing up an AT&T building.

Presumably to see if he had any contacts.

Even if this was, as it appears, entirely personal, he still may have dealt with people who also had some sort of violent inclinations or agendas.

In the wake of a massive mob attack on the United States Capitol, incited by the US President while Congress was in session to declare the end of his term, an action which has resulted in at least five deaths so far? Yes, and quite reasonably so.

Also, the lack of recent developments leaves little to report. Do you think news outlets should just reprint a summary of the incident to make sure nobody has forgotten about it?

It seems to me that paranoia and eccentric beliefs are common factors to terrorists in general.

Deteriorating interpersonal relationships I'm not so sure about, but it wouldn't surprise me.

While they certainly have these things in common, these aren't what makes it terrorism or not. Terrorism is violence that is enacted in a way to increase the terror in a population so that they will demand political changes to prevent more attacks. Terrorism is political in nature.

Nope. The only statement was that it was an IED, which is stating the obvious. Interesting contrast with the Oklahoma bombing which was rather quickly identified a a fuel/ammonium nitrate bomb. Could be they don't want to spread info that might aid other paranoid/suicidal types. Copy cats are a thing.
