That would make them all "rioters"? right?

Unless, of course, they could prove how peaceful they are being by destroying some of those statues- then it would be absolutely clear that they needed to be left alone.

Also, social workers are to help with problem people *before* they turn to crime - much like "Midnight Basketball" required participants to take part in GED classes, fill out job applications, and the like.

SWAT teams, riot cops, and the like are properly for the white supremacist terrorism and violence that folks like Distracted1 have spent the past decade promoting and writing apologetics for.

Everyone single person currently on Capitol grounds is in violation of federal law. They overran law enforcement and are occupying the seat of our government. That you wish to excuse this behavior for any reason and to any degree is pathetic.

I can assure you, these posts will come back to haunt you.

The Obtuseness of some posters in this thread is incredible.

There have been 56 pages of excusing the behavior of rioters if their viewpoints agree with their apologists- followed instantly on page 57 by calls for executions of rioters as "treasonous" when their viewpoints don't align.

My posts are some of the only ones maintaining any continuity of principle. The police need to start shutting down the (mostly peaceful) protestors in DC, the same way they were needed to shut down the (mostly peaceful) protestors who have been causing trouble in our cities all year.

The stance that they should shut down protests in Seattle, Portland, Philly, Chicago, etc.. has been contested in this thread since day one- now, all of a sudden: "OMG!! where are the police!!!"

It's laughable.
