So, here's my fantasy of what ought to happen next. I know it's fantasy, but here goes.

The House of Representatives reconvenes, and someone introduces an article of impeachment on grounds of inciting a riot and an illegal attempt to interfere with Congress' business. It is voted on immediately, and they march it over to the Senate, and someone calls for a suspension of a the impeachment rules, calls for an immediate vote, and Trump is removed, now.

There is no electoral vote counting. The Capitol is on lockdown, members of Congress are sheltering in their offices, and protestors are in the House chamber.
