One has to wonder what would happen if a bunch of BLM protestors and/or black people attempted to storm the Capitol building.

I disagree. There is no need to wonder what would happen if that were the case. They would not have even reached the steps before encountering a violent response from law enforcement.
 
Police got caught with their pants down here. Totally unprepared and playing way too nice given their antics against genuine peaceful protestors.

These people came directly from a Trump rally where he wound them up with his “I was robbed” conspiracy theory garbage and they marched directly to the Capitol where the election results are being certified by Congress.

I don’t see how you divorce this from politics.

We were talking specifically about the proud boys, not general right wing loons. There's a lot of I ntersectional crossover there, but the pbs as a standalone gang are not politically driven. Might have blurred the line along the way who was being talked about

No, I was talking about the right wingers in general. That’s why you didn’t see me specifically mention the Proud Boys during this conversation. Plenty of red “Make America Great Again” hats in that initial video, and these goons currently overrunning the Capitol are absolutely politically-motivated.
