Just something to chew on. The At&T building that was involved in bombing yesterday, happens to be the where the voting machines were taken to conduct a audit of machines. So a raggy RV is pulled in then police recieve a call about shots fired. They arrive to find a count down tht sounds very official an allows for everyone to be evacuated. Are bells going off yet?

Good luck to Poland in enforcing their laws on Facebook, based in the USA.

Remember Facebook is a platform for advertisers. If you wanted to curtail Facebook in your own country you would go after the advertisers, if any have a presence in your country you fine or seize the assets of those companies. You can go further and make it an offence to import anything from companies that advertise on Facebook anywhere in the world or for a company to do business with them.

As an example look at China to see how a country can control these huge international companies if there is the political will to do so. Or look at the USA that has tried to cripple Huawei.

In this case Poland being part of the EU wouldn’t be able to impose such sanctions unilaterally but if it could persuade enough member states the EU has shown that it can control these huge companies.

It all comes down to political will.

Your CCP friends prevent their citizens from accessing certain things online.

Does that please you too?

True, which is why where there is growing sentiment to correct their abuse of the system, as Poland's legal measure corrected it, to level the field.

You're calling Facebook exercising its freedoms an "abuse of the system", and you suggest that forcing government control is an acceptable way to "level the field"? I have to conclude that you don't think very deeply about the guff that propagandists foist off on you.

You also have to hand back all your right-wing merit badges.

I wonder if that's true.

I doubt it. Why would you take voting machines to an AT&T building to conduct an audit?

Not saying it's impossible, just noting to Bubba that just because he says he saw something on Facebook doesn't mean the thing actually happened.

No, it doesn't please me, but ultimately, I don't much care - China can do what it likes for their citizens.

China's actions online do not affect the rest of the world's access to content.

Me too

Maybe its not 100% AT&T offices in the AT&T building.

Thats right, its just a random unconfirmed FB post.

I, for one, am happy that governments do not have any control over these platforms' Terms of Service. Its all very well having a country like Poland making laws about what businesses based in other countries can do - lets see them try to enforce those laws. Polish court rulings are unenforceable in the US, so the complainant will have to either travel to the US, or get US-based representation, in order to file any complaint. Good luck with that too!

Any evidence that an audit of voting machines was happening in that building?

Probably means the thing didn't actually happen.

I dont know. I am watching the FB source, and looking elsewhere.

To me, their remark "Are bells going off yet?" says they are implying a possible false flag attack.

The number of US companies trading in Poland is HUUUUGE, HUUGE I tell you

Its also worth noting that most of these companies are wholly owned in the country they are located with no financial connection with the parent company in the US other than name and logo.

If the Polish government want to go after Polish companies advertising on Facebook they will only be hurting themselves,
