The big sort? More than $1.1bn over the next four years, and thats not even counting the $400m he owes to "unknown" foreign creditors who are most likely to be Russians. Trump's businesses are loaded with dirty Russian money.

Damn straight. And the Secretary of State of Georgia, who initiated that purge, was at the same time running as a Republican candidate for governor. His name was Brian Porter Kemp, and he is now our governor. The abuse wasn't limited to the purge.

In our county, a notorious incident occurred when a busload of elderly, mostly black voters, all residents of an assisted-living or nursing home, was turned away from a polling place by a crew of "poll watchers" appointed by . . . Kemp. Kemp's crew was stationed outside and refused to allow the voters entrance. Their crime? They showed up in a bus, which Kemp's crew claimed was illegal.

It isn't, and it wasn't. Just a way of turning potential voters for Stacy Abrams away.

She claims to have done that with a little math. She points to Breathitt County, which reportedly has 9700 adults of voting age and 11,497 registered voters. However, there is an obvious reason for that, which she goes on to mention:

In November 2017, Judicial Watch, a right-wing non-partisan foundation promoting transparency, sued Kentucky over its “Dirty Voter Rolls” and its failure to maintain accurate voter registration lists. The suit argued that 48 of the 120 Kentucky counties had more registered voters than citizens over the age of 18 and alleged that Kentucky was one of only three states with a statewide active registration rate greater than 100% of the age-eligible citizen population. Kentucky’s inflated voter rolls and lack of transparency provide a perfect cover for malfeasant behavior regarding the election results.

They also provide a perfect explanation for why there are more registered voters than persons of voting age. And, despite the focus on this, in fact, only 5,390 people actually voted in Breathitt County.

Minor correction. You're probably thinking of previous purges. This is an ongoing problem.

At the risk of repeating myself, I have seen this type of thing before. These actions are the classic signs of narcissistic psyche collapse. As we edge ever closer to inauguration day, the pressure on his ego will be enormous, and I would not be at all surprised if he suffers a complete breakdown.

And with those numbers, we see why everything makes sense. There's really no evidence of shenanigans.

It does illustrate a legitimate problem, in my opinion. The voter rolls really should be better maintained than that. We have the technology to do better.

I don't want to completely ignore your original point, though, which if I recall was that left wing sources sometimes make the same sorts of bogus claims made by right wing sources. Sadly, it is true. Furthermore, in both cases, people can look at all the evidence and say, with a straight face, that there is no evidence of fraud in the elections our team won. There is only evidence of fraud in the elections our team lost.
