The Cyber Hack is far greater in the Fake News Media than in actuality. I have been fully briefed and everything is well under control. Russia, Russia, Russia is the priority chant when anything happens because Lamestream is, for mostly financial reasons, petrified of....

....discussing the possibility that it may be China (it may!). There could also have been a hit on our ridiculous voting machines during the election, which is now obvious that I won big, making it an even more corrupted embarrassment for the USA.
@DNI_Ratcliffe

@SecPompeo

Here's a link, if you'd like to see what treason looks like in person.

Someone on another website just made an interesting suggestion: Trump might be scared that he knows a bit too much about Russian operations in the US that might be embarassing to Putin,and people who might embarass Putin have a way of dying......

Huh? Would it be embarrassing to Putin if Trump said he was a Putin stooge who had completely taken over the US executive branch? How would that embarrass Putin? It should embarrass America, of course. But it would make Putin look like a conquering hero in Russia.

This could go in either the Biden or Trump Presidency, really, but...

Pentagon pauses transition meetings, causing concern for Biden's team as it meets 'resistance' in the department

Hard to tell if it's nefarious or not, honestly, in light of everything. To poke at a couple quotes, though...

A senior Pentagon official told the Axios reporter Jonathan Swan that the acting defense secretary ordered the pause on transition meetings because some of the Pentagon staff involved felt "overwhelmed."

<snip>

The Trump administration delayed the start of the transition as the president disputed the results of the election, forcing officials in federal departments and agencies involved in the transition process to scramble to hold all of the necessary meetings before Biden takes office on January 20.

At the Pentagon, another challenge could be that some senior military leaders are new, including the acting defense secretary and the senior official tasked with leading the transition.

Shortly after the election, the Pentagon experienced a major upheaval as the secretary of defense and his chief of staff, as well as the top policy and intelligence officials, departed, leaving vacant posts for the Trump administration to fill with loyalists.

Talking to Insider about the newcomers, a former Pentagon official said last month that "the individuals being installed do not have the level of experience their predecessors did to assist with the transition."

It could be an overload for new people, but then... looks like those people almost certainly brazenly lied about the pause being mutually agreed upon, and the people themselves are likely to be Trump toadies.

And as usual...

Raw Story: Republican defends Trump's talk of a military coup: 'It was a conversation -- not a revolution'
"During an appearance on the conservative Newsmax channel this week, Mr. Flynn pushed for Mr. Trump to impose martial law and deploy the military to 'rerun' the election. At one point in the meeting on Friday, Mr. Trump asked about that idea," The New York Times reported Saturday. "The White House counsel, Pat A. Cipollone, and the White House chief of staff, Mark Meadows, repeatedly and aggressively pushed back on the ideas being proposed, which went beyond the special counsel idea, those briefed on the meeting said. Mr. Cipollone told Mr. Trump there was no constitutional authority for what was being discussed, one of the people briefed on the meeting said."

I picture Trump asking the question about the same way he asked Birx if people could clean the COVID out of their bodies with bleach and everyone in the room groaned.

There's no way Putin actually trusted Trump enough to let him in on any real secrets. Remember that Putin came up through the KGB in the old USSR, and made himself the Czar of the new Russia after the USSR fell apart. There's no way he did all that while being stupid. Trump is a useful tool to Putin, nothing more.

This is a no brainer. I don't know why anyone even suggested Trump has anything on Putin.

Trump almost certainly has evidence about Russian oligarchs laundering money. But he'd have to admit he helped.

In fact, if I was Putin, I'd have told Trump a whole lot of fake secrets. You know Trump is too stupid and incompetent to actually figure out that they're fake, but being let in on "The Big Secret" fluffs his ego, and makes him more compliant. And when he inevitably tries to buy his freedom by revealing these fake secrets, the fact that none of them pans out just makes Trump look like an idiot, and probably leads directly to him ending up in jail.

From the CNN story linked.
One of the sources described an escalating sense of concern among Trump's aides, even those who have weathered his previous controversies, about what steps he might take next as his term comes to an end. CNN

Just when you start to think that finally we're rid of this piece of garbage, that the reality that's he's done is finally sinking in even into trump's thick skull, you read something like this. If people who work for trump, people who wanted to work for trump, are worried, the rest of us should be freaking terrified! :(

What would Bolton, one of the dumbest people in Washington, know? Wasn’t he the person who so stupidly said, on television, “Libyan solution”, when describing what the U.S. was going to do for North Korea? I’ve got plenty of other Bolton “stupid stories”.

Bolton, one of the dumbest people in Washington...

As has been pointed out, if Bolton is one of the "dumbest people in Washington," why did trump hire him as National Security Advisor? trump's obvious answer would be he hired him after trump "listened to the experts." How else could he spin it? But that answer begs the question, Bolton served from April 2018 to September 2019, if Bolton is so dumb why did it take trump seventeen months to figure it out? That one would be tough for even trump to spin which is why trump has lashed out at reporters who even tried to ask those questions.

The saddest thing is, this nonsense seems to work with trump's base. They pretty much seem to buy into anything he says or tweets. Political pundits say this is how trump has maintained control within the Republican Party. If anyone crosses him, or incurs his wrath, trump plays the vicious bully and takes to twitter and trashes them. Usually a career-killing move for the person targeted.

A kind of 'mean girls' presidency.

So do lots of people which begs the question, why hire him? He was in the lunatic fringe long before Trump made it cool.
