One thing Trump is good at: manipulating the news cycle.

Within minutes of Biden clinching the presidency officially, boum, Trump announces the coming Barr resignation.

His resignation letter was an over the top sycophantic piece of **** praising Trump and hitting Trump talking points. It was disgusting. IMO, it was a letter given in exchange for not being fired.

So, this guy, who is complaining about Trump's attempts to overturn the election, was A-Ok with Trump attempting to blackmail/bribe the leader of a foreign country to interfere in the American election (i.e. he didn't leave the party back then, or vote for impeachment), may have complained when Trump made various racist statements but still did absolutely nothing, and then now, at the very end of his term, with all the corruption that he was a part of, he is pretending he has some integrity.

Eh, either way, that'll likely happen soon enough, hopefully along with Harriet Tubman being on the $20 bill. I like the symbology, and hope that Toupee Fiasco will continue to rage, and Stephen Miller will...i dunno, stomp around until the sun rises on him and he burns into a pile of dust or something, so he can stop feasting on refugee children once and for all.

I think I read that while the backers lost money, Trump walked away with more money than he started with. Between siphoning money into his businesses (“hey, all the other casinos have NYC offices - I can hook you up in Trump Plaza”), having his father bail him out with a three-million dollar illegal transaction,
and allegedly laundering some money, there is no telling how much money his grubby tiny hands got ahold of.

A lot of it started out as rubles and riyals, but they magically became a US dollar river of credit for Donny.

Pence will have to hold down the fort till January. Trump can sign any pardons in Florida.
