How they have a hockey team in a desert state?

Why everyone calls it Las Vegas when it's actually the town of Paradise?
 
It looks like someone in Nevada may have done the alternate elector nonsense too.

Someone called the RSBNetwork Tweeted "BREAKING: Nevada GOP electors cast ballot for Donald J Trump declaring him winner of 6 Electoral votes in NV."

Meanwhile, in the Electoral College, the 6 actual electors cast their votes for Biden.

Apparently, they're the Right Side Broadcast Network, who regularly stream Trump's rallies. They're going nuts saying "Don't give up just because Biden received the Electoral votes from the contested states. Trump also received Electoral Votes from separate electors in those states."
As if electors other than the real ones actually count.
 
Michigan Congressman Paul Mitchell leaving GOP and becoming an Independent. He's a very conservative, long time Republican but he says he can no longer belong to a party that is behaving the way the party is now under Trump.

From the looks of it, he is leaving the party and serving as an independent before retiring... in just a few weeks.

So, this guy, who is complaining about Trump's attempts to overturn the election, was A-Ok with Trump attempting to blackmail/bribe the leader of a foreign country to interfere in the American election (i.e. he didn't leave the party back then, or vote for impeachment), may have complained when Trump made various racist statements but still did absolutely nothing, and then now, at the very end of his term, with all the corruption that he was a part of, he is pretending he has some integrity.

Too little, too late in my books.

To put things in perspective;

The 2020 Stanley cup was won by the Tampa Bay Lightning.

They won the seven game series 4 to 2 ... against the Dallas Stars.

I'm thinking climate doesn't have much to do with it these days. And hasn't for quite some time.
 
Well we have not yet reached peak Trump stupidity.

Complaining about election results:
"The election was over at 10:00 in the evening.
All of the bookies all over the world were saying the election's over. They wouldn't even take bets on it."

He thinks he is clever for saying they wouldn’t take bets on it. Hey, President Chucklehead, they would not take bets on it because the event was over. The results we’re not yet know but the event itself ended. And without putting too fine a point on it, bookies stop taking bets the moment an event starts, not when it ends.

Also, Mr. Genius Casino-owner. For bookies, it is not over until they start making payouts. No professional or illegal bookmaker was ready to pay out bets at 10:00 pm.

Trump went bankrupt running a casino. It's hard to top that for stupidity.
