He’s not going to do hard time.

He’ll cite his age and his health to get out of prison or jail. The best we can hope for is house arrest with a shock collar.

On the other hand, maybe the solution is to sentence him to a couple of years at a minimum security prison. His lawyers will file a motion claiming age and health prevent him from serving. Prosecutors counter with “sure, we can do that. Of course, too sick to serve time means too sick to serve in political office.”

Anyway we won’t have the fun of watching him go to jail. However, we will have the fun of watching the judge repeatedly tell him to STFU during the trial.
