Nevada Supreme Court hands Trump another beating

"The court found the Trump campaign failed to identify 'any unsupported factual findings' in Russell’s decision, with the state’s high court concluding it had also 'identified none.'

'To prevail on this appeal, appellants must demonstrate error of law, findings of fact not supported by substantial evidence or an abuse of discretion in the admission or rejection of evidence by the district court,' the order read. 'We are not convinced they have done so.' "

I think maybe some said to him that he probably could use an intervention, and he just misunderstood.

j/k

The staggering amount of legal lunacy not being prosecuted is amazing to this layman. Careers should end over all of this.
We can recover, I expect we will. But the fallout to slog through saps my confidence.
This all seems so "chicken-****" to be this era's "great challenge". [emoji20]

At 10:00 P.M. on Election Evening, we were at 97% win with the so-called “bookies”.

Future thought & question?

Will we need a sub-forum for 'Stolen election 2020'?

Will this particular meme become like 911, Moon landing hoax and JFK?

Never ending with ceaselessly made up evidence being promoted by those who want to make a buck?

Who wants to be the "Gravy" for this topic?

I'll say... again... I want to live long enough to see Halley's in my centennial, and now to audit a PoliSci class in 20 years... for the Lols. [emoji1]

@BrianFrosh
Maryland will NOT be joining the #Texaslawsuit. The suit is a cesspool of disproved charges, wild speculation, insupportable arguments and silly gibberish.

Joe Biden is the President-Elect.

The perfect summoning up of this complete farce:

"Mr Trump's attempt to utilise the courts to circumvent electoral defeat has thus far been an utter failure.

Nearly every one of the lawsuits brought by Mr Trump's legal allies to challenge the election has been tossed out – even by Trump-appointed judges.

Mr Trump had to part ways with one of his lawyers, Sidney Powell, who promotes dangerous conspiracy theories and files error-ridden lawsuits. His other champion lawyer, former New York Mayor Rudy Giuliani, became infected with Covid-19 after bumbling through press conferences – one mistakenly at a landscaping company, another while hair dye ran down his face, and another in which he struggled with flatulence issues.

Rebecca Green, co-director of the election law programme at William & Mary Law School, said she believed the legal challenges were unlikely to be taken seriously by any judge, even those appointed by Trump.

"The merits are so outrageous in these claims that even the most avid Trump judges on the federal bench are laughing them out of court,"

Wow! At least 17 States have joined Texas in the extraordinary case against the greatest Election Fraud in the history of the United States. Thank you!

“If you’re looking for Election Rigging, look no further. That’s what this is. They kept information from the public in order to influence the outcome of the Election. They RIGGED it.”

It works equally well with 'against" or 'of' in that sentence. But "of' changes what it says to the truth.

There's no joinder. They simply signed onto an amicus brief in favor of granting the motion to accept the case.

This is actually a good thing, I think, because this will let the court comprehensively strike down all this nonsense in one fell swoop. And since Trump has been cheerleading this case all week, its failure will be his failure.

I think the Supreme Court, given their curtness over the last lawsuit, are tired of this nonsense. :D

Perfect emijo string for the Supreme Court in dealing most of Trump's (or his supporters) lawsuits:  :boggled:  :jaw-dropp

On a side note can the Supreme Court make a summery judgement without actually hearing the case? I think they are really really tired with this nonsense and if their last reaction is any guide angry. The last thing you want is a judge to be angry with you.

Can I file an Amicus Brief for this?

Can the Court dismiss the Paxton thing by referring to the many State and Federal Courts who have dismissed the "substance" of the claims, some in great details, often scathingly so?
