Trump's Coup d'état.

Whether planned or coincidence, the whine that these judges didn't even review the evidence will be the mantra used by Trump and fellow republicons to gull the credulous and continue the grift.

It's already started. People I regard as usually more rational are convinced that somehow Republican appointed (and sometimes Trump-appointed) judges aren't giving these cases a fair shake.

Oh, I realize the grift has started, but it will be a republican talking point for just about ever.

These lawsuits are like Whack a Mole. Knock two down, three appear. They filed another in Wisconsin and listed the defendants to be Joe Biden and Kamala Harris as if they have something to do with elections in Wisconsin.

Also electors (Trump's slate of electors) filed suit in PA. They mostly rehash the same complaints we have already seen.

Tomorrow can't have come and gone fast enough for me.

IMHO, more proof that the suits are not filed with the intention of winning, but only with the intention of creating by sheer volume the impression that there must be something fishy. There's no basis for including Biden and Harris as defendants other than that they can say that they sued Biden and Harris.

Using the Scientology doctrine of lawsuits. The purpose is not to win but to make life difficult for your enemy.

They gotta justify what they did with the donations they got from the rubes.

The lawsuits have taken an even stupider turn. Donald Trump and Mike Pence (not the campaign) have filed a lawsuit against Joe Biden and Kamala Harris.

What relief are they seeking? To "set aside" the determination in multiple counties that absentee ballots should be counted. While it's not entirely clear what it means to "set them aside," given that neither Joe Biden nor Kamala Harris serve on any county board of canvassers, it is literally impossible for them to do anything about this. It's like if a random twitter troll filed a lawsuit on their own, except this was done with the assistance of the lawyers of the President of The United States.

I read this a little while ago. The chutzpah of these people is staggering.

The best part: the lawsuit filing lists Pence's address as 4750 North Meridian Street, Indianapolis, IN. That is the address of the governor's mansion!!!

These folks ever hear of countersuits?

Pretty bizarre since he hasn't lived there in 4 years. Does he even own a home in Indiana these days?

This is classic. Part of Sydney Powell's suit in Wisconsin. It included endless pages accusing fraud through the use of the Dominion voting machines. She also asked that the counts in Dane and Milwaukee counties be tossed out.

Here's the problem. They didn't use Dominion voting machines in those counties. Or in 8 of 10 counties Powell referred to in her suit. The two counties that did use Dominion voting machines, Trump won.

That's hilarious.

I am afraid the electoin channlenges, after BIden is actually elected that the challenges will move into the streets with widespread violence.

I'm actually thinking the long string of foolish lawsuits has eroded all but the die hard faithful... had they stuck with less clumsy approaches there might be more people willing to object.

I suspect Trump suing Biden is just some backdoor way of getting into court again, though for what reason I cannot imagine.

I'm guessing the other routes all lie over burned bridges now.
