My wife mouses right-handed, but has the buttons reversed because of an injury to her right index finger years ago. Handy for me when I need to use her computer.
In my case, I'm strongly right-handed but mouse left-handed because of carpal tunnel syndrome. Sort of equalizes the pain. May have even saved me from surgery.

My wife literally reverses the mouse.

No, she doesn't reverse the mouse controls, she reverses the mouse itself. As in puts the mouse on the mousepad with the cord (or where the cord would be on a wireless) updside down.

Yes, she's a monster.

When I got a Mac it came with one of those 1-button mice (mouses?). I immediately switched it out to a normal 2-button one I was comfortable with, and knew how to use.

I've been rostered on for an extra hour today because of absenteeism. I don't resent people for feeling unwell - one of the recommendations that has really been taken to heart over the course of the year is that if you feel unwell, do not come to work. But working eight and a half hours instead of seven and a half isn't going to be fun for me, especially when I started my shift at 7:30am.

Here is some Chronicles of George **** right here. I have a job from a T1 that reads:

I always read those in the tones of someone using some Bolivian marching powder.

Its an "old man yells at cloud" thing but I get the impression that grammar and spelling are just not being taught at school any more.

Now that you mention it, me either. English classes were 100% literature. I learned more English grammar in Latin than I ever did in English.
Kids don't learn Latin any more. That's the problem.

Me too, even though the schools I went to did try to teach grammar.

Grammar is an integral part of each separate word in Latin, so you don't have much choice but to learn it. You can't find your way around a sentence without learning the endings of words to tell you the tenses, genders, etc., etc..

Caesar wasn't so bad, he was writing for the common guy, but Cicero was hell. Just trying to figure out which words went with each other was like solving a puzzle.

Steve Jobs is rolling in his grave. One button is the gospel!

Being a long time X11 user, I am of the firm belief that a mouse should have three buttons. Left button select and copy, middle button paste. Scroll wheel mouse is acceptable, as the wheel also functions as a middle button, where applicable.

Again, all three buttons have been supported by MacOS since the 80s.

My own preference for a mouse has five buttons, a scroll wheel, and a control that adjusts the sensitivity.
