On November 20th, Gabriel Sterling, Georgia's voting system manager suggested Trump "be the better man" and accept the certified results of the election. I thought better than whom? As far as I can tell, he's never really acted like an adult in his adult life, so why would anyone expect him to now, or even broach the idea with him? His reaction to his election loss was that of an immature adolescent, a snowflake, and of course his moronic snowflake supporters follow his lead. Trump sees this, and realizes he has another grift: a vast captive audience of credulous nincompoops willing to throw money at his "election fraud" fundraising scheme, oblivious to the fact that he's going to pocket that money while laughing at the nitwits who donated it. And the nitwits eat it up, as well as the conspiracies he uses to gull them.
Does he believe any of the fraudulent conspiracy that he tweets? Hard to guess, but there is always the possibility he's conned himself. He does see the benefit in regurgitating the abject nonsense spewed on outlets like OAN or Newsmax, knowing his simpleton supporters have consumed the same odorous excrement, and will nod their heads in agreement. Keeping the idiots he openly mocks agitated will only increase the grift and I don't think he can help himself in his greed for more, just as I do think he'll lose the money he grifted in short order, whether it be in more doomed-to-fail real estate ventures, or in legal bills that will doubtless begin very soon after his eviction Jan 20.
He's done as president of course, but not as an oily con man; if we've learned anything from the last four disastrous years it is that a fool is born every minute, and that fool is easily parted from his money. Trump may be a fake billionaire, but he will live a billionaire lifestyle, financed in part by a gaggle of gullibles who never realize, or care they've been fleeced, and have voted against their best interests.
