Congress is protecting Christmas

I agree, but you've got to admit, this was funny!
________

"This time of year we see Christmas every where we go,
From churches, to homes, to schools, and yes…even Costco;
What we have is an attempt to divide and destroy,
When this is the season to unite us with joy

At Christmas time we’re taught to unite,
We don’t need a made-up reason to fight
So on O’Reilly, on Hannity, on Coulter, and those right wing blogs;
You should just sit back, relax…have a few egg nogs!"

In retaliation, the Grinch launched a terrorist attack on Whoville. Thirty-six were injured, including little Cindy Lu Who, local agitator.

Resolution 579 just passed, it is there to protect Christmas symbols and traditions.

Seperation of Church and State?! It means nothing to politicians.

Well, maybe it means something to John Dingell

I find it interesting that a man who makes his living promising things to the masses gets offended when other congressmen react to the masses being offended.

Live by the populist sword, die by the populist sword. That is what motivates these people, right? That any manner of private rights may be stomped if one of them can, ever so briefly, convince 50.1% of the population to start-a-stompin'!

Of course, rare is the population on either side who stands up for rights -- and is consistent with it, even if it interferes with his local brand of leading the masses on cruscades against this or that.

Protect Christmas from whom? John Stewart???

You know, it's going to be much more fun at Osama's homo-abortion-pot-and-commie-jizzporium this holiday season. everyone else is going nuckin futz.
