Based on what's been going on in Florida, if he'd done that just before the election it might have worked.

Dave

That ******* sucks.

Too bad CNN didn't track this down before the election. Too bad the Democrats didn't figure they needed to advertise the name issue. Or maybe they did but it wasn't enough.

It's a good thing this was about a state senator, not a McConnell team Senator. But it could matter when districts are gerrymandered with the new census count.

Apparently the Obama team made dozens of informational binders, iPads, and instruction sheets available to the Trump transition team, but true to their nature, they never used them and threw them out.

I don't expect the Biden team will get that kind of help from the Trump staffers this go around.

Biden knows more about running the White House than the leaving Trump administration does.

Seriously, what are they going to tell them?

"Just have Jared do it."

Because that's basically been their approach to everything.

That was the whole point. Chris Christie was with the binders and had lists of all the people to appoint. Trump sent in Bannon to throw out Christie and the binders. They intended not to name agency heads as long as possible. The second in commands ran all them departments for months.

Of course they will. So the Biden team doesn't have to do it themselves, I'm sure the Trump staffers are throwing out as much as they can right now.

Now that the transition started, when will the full investigation into Hunter Biden laptops begin? For the 2023 impeachment.

The computer repair guy who “found” the alleged laptop closed up and skipped town ten days after the election. Apparently there was just a sign left on the door.

I imagine it read, “The Red-Headed League is Dissolved. November 13, 2020”

I mostly want Biden and his team to take the high road. The exception is Jared and Ivanka. I really want the Biden team to communicate that there is no need to meet with them.

Agreed. He's going to slink off to Mar-A-Lago in the dead of night. Pence will be gracious and stick around.

I'm actually wondering now if this whole experience will be too upsetting for Trump to even become a taking head on FOX or Newsmax etc.

Pence won’t be able to have a 1 to 1 with the new VP.

I'm pretty sure if they did, Biden might take a closer look but I imagine not a one of them is worth the paper they are printed on. That is if there even are any binders full of anything but blank pages.

Biden: 80,046,072

Trump: 73,881,950

Difference: 6,164,122

Yessssssssssssssss!!! I was hoping for that. Just because the Trumpers would have nitpicked it even if it was 79,999,999 and saying "Biden didn't get 80 million blah blah blah." But they let Trump slide on his rounding up. Oh, yeah!!

The BIDEN/HARRIS ticket has accumulated 11 million more votes than any previous ticket in history.

Other election news, Wisconsin recount

The recount in the two Democratically leaning counties is a little over one quarter completed as of about 10 hours ago. It has affected 51 votes. Trump lost 10 votes and Biden lost 51. This was the result of ballots lacking either a voter signature or a witness signature.

Biden's lead before the recount began was 20,546 votes. Trump now requires 20,505 votes more.

I'm not a mathematician, but it doesn't seem likely.

Conceding, in terms of competition, is acknowledging defeat prior to the official end of the contest. When a chess player concedes, they are surrendering the game as a loss prior to having been placed in checkmate.

In chess that's called resigning, not conceding.
