There's a ton of clickbait out there. Misleading headlines are par for the course. It has to be one of the things I hate most about the Internet.

Trump uses the term "steadfast" all the time. Don't see what you're so worked up about.

I kinda wonder if Murphy really received death threats. Could be. Crazy ol' world, after all.

I think some might still be dreaming that SCOTUS with it's 3 Trump appointees will save it somehow for Trump. But if you watched the court's rulings for the last few months that never seemed likely. In fact it has always seemed damned unlikely. Not that they might not want a GOP president. Just that every ruling on an election case said the same thing. We are not going to tell the states how to run their elections.

As the end becomes more and more apparent, this Thanksgiving I will be thankful not only for the coming end of the Trump era, but for the farcical way it ended. The Borat scene. The Four Seasons press conference. The hair dye disaster. The lawyer too crazy for Trump. The interviews with "dead" voters. Minnesota and Michigan. The failed lawsuits one after another after another. And....whatever absurd tweet, news story, or other development that awaits us tomorrow.

I only wish that Saturday Night Live had more new episodes during this period. They missed some opportunities.

That second part is a new twist since just the last time I looked a few hours ago. "I really won but I'll let the transition staff do what they only need to do because I lost" might be about the biggest concession-like ramble we'll get from him. I'd say I'm surprised it doesn't have a lot more of a reaction around here, but there hasn't been much time.

He will never admit to conceding, but he obviously has. From now on, it'll just be noise. And I think that may die out soo. After all, lawyers aren't cheap, and any who takes on his "cases" from now on will likely see to it that they are well payed.

To poke at something of a simplification - The Republican Party has had distinct and strong similarities with fascist groups for a very long time. It's probably a good time to remind the curious that, quite literally, it was Republicans who tried to pull off a pro-Nazi coup of the US government. In recent decades, that resemblance has continually gotten stronger, which has led to more and more correct associations between the Republican Party and fascism. Anti-fascist then gets conflated with anti-republican (aka enemy who needs to be delegitimized by Republicans and especially by the fascists/authoritarians in the Republican Party). Now, though, it's probably more correct to start more directly pointing out that far too many of them are now effectively pushing totalitarianism, which is almost certainly even worse.
