Allegations of Fraud in 2020 US Election

I don't think he'll make an unambiguous call for violence, but I think he'll make some ambiguous statements that may be read as such a call. (I mean reasonably read as such a call. I don't mean like his Twitter hypothetical that "Biden's shot".)

His "Stand back and stand by" comment set the stage. I can't be certain his choice of words is intentional, because he is inarticulate, but it was certainly taken so by the Proud Boys. That's dangerous.

" Who will rid me of this troublesome prelate?" kind of thing.

" Who will rid me of this troublesome prelate?" kind of thing.

Not even sure he will have to go that far. Name dropping specific people will probably be enough.

If he identifies anyone as being part of the "steal", that's a big "kick me" sign for all his rabid base.

I don't think it's this bad. At least outside of US, among my friends, I see many people supporting Trump, because they simply believe what he says. Because why would president lie ? And as for election fraud, they believe viral videos, because why would videos on internet lie ?
Tons of people are simply gullible.

Tons of people are simply stupid.

I..and my M1 Carbine..are ready for that..if the Trumpers want to start violence, then the Anti Trumpers have every right to defend themselves.

It isn't the wannabe Rambo's amongst the Trumpers you have to worry about, its the wannabe Timothy McVey's.

Alex Jones is nothing but an attention seeking opportunist playing on the fears of idiots too stupid to know they're buying snake oil from a snake oil salesman.

Exactly it is like blaming the death of Tomas Becket on Henry II. All he said was a harmless question of "Will no one rid me of this turbulent priest?". Clearly the whole attack and stabbing were entirely unconnected to such harmless questions.
It's unlikely they were intended. Henry was venting after yet another failed diplomatic effort to get the Pope to remove Becket : diplomat after diplomat after paid-off cardinal had let him down. Henry II was an active and astute politician as well as a great commander, which meant there were two factions at court. The knights that killed Becket were of the traditional faction, resentful of the diplomats in general, and chose to hear it that way. It was a disaster for Henry, and he'd have known that it would be.

I got the impression that he feels like he's done what he set out to do. Krebs wanted to secure the election. He secured the election. Maybe he wants to go back to Microsoft. I'm sure he took a big pay cut to take this job.
Whatever he does, he can do it with a clear conscience.

Based on the feckless response of the Republican party to these meritless claims, it should be clear that this is likely going to be the last election in which easy access to voting is tolerated in Republican controlled states.

I suspect that's what these challenges are really about. Trump has (or had) good lawyers who no doubt explained that these lawsuits were hopeless. But the messaging that mail in ballots are inherently fraudulent is being sent loud and clear.

The Republicans may not back Trump on any attempt for a power grab through reversing the election results, but you can bet your ass they will make sure such easy access to voting isn't available in the near future.

A 6-3 court will find that states rights to conduct their elections as they see fit will outweigh any individual right to vote.

The two dummies in Wayne County have reversed their vote again. For those keeping score: They voted not to certify, changed it back to certify, and are now back to not certified. Clearly, they are the leading experts in voting irregularities.

But surely the fact that the most paranoid and deranged group of people imaginable could find no instance of significant fraud means that elections are secure. Hence, voting can safely be made even more accessible.

Trump proves mail-in ballots are secure

Two Republican Wayne County canvassers have signed affidavits saying they regret their votes Tuesday to certify the Nov. 3 election.
It's not clear whether the affidavits have any legal effect on Tuesday's certification, which moved Wayne County results on to the bipartisan Board of State Canvassers. Even if Palmer and Hartmann were able to rescind their votes, the deadline for Wayne County to certify its results has already passed, in which case any uncertified results would pass on to the state board.

The Board of State Canvassers is scheduled to meet Monday.

No takesy-backsies?

If any more lost ballots turn up in Wayne County I'm guessing they find two spines besides them.
