See my above post. The analogy is getting lost in the details. Here's the original exchange:
Some people here did ignore what they should do and instead followed orders. The woman who refused to give Biden access to money and offices, for example, is one of those people though I think it's hard to compare that to torturing someone when ordered to.
But we've come nowhere close to this happening on the large scale it would take for an actual coup.

More reports of voting machines switching Romney votes to Obama. Pay close attention to the machines, don't let your vote be stolen

So is Trump now claiming that Obama stole the 2012 election from Romney in the same way Biden is stealing the 2020 one from him?
"I want you to think about what this means for your kids, who probably go to [redacted]"...
If you watch the video it's cut off at a crucial moment. Why do I have the strong suspicion that it was edited here because he was not threatening Palmer's children at all?
ETA: I looked at his twitter page. Apparently he mentioned what school the kids may go to but not in a "nice school your kids go to. Pity if something happened to it" way either. While not a smart thing to do, it is certainly not threatening Palmer's children.
Clearly. For me it is bad enough that the sitting President of the United States of ******* America has said that he will ignore the vote of the people and is actually trying to get others to follow his lead. Add on top of these things that he is trying to delegitimize the democratic process where it is to his advantage and it is a playbook for any future aspiring autocrat. Each of these things is something to be upset about, whether he succeeds or not.

Something like this, I think. He's essentially recycling baseless claims he made in 2012 as support for the baseless claims he's making today. Only Trump would think that was a valid approach; only having the sort of mindless base whose first and only reflex is to snap at whatever chum he throws in the water for them enables him to use it.
Sorry if anyone think this sounds harsh, but I'm getting really ******* tired of this idiot and the way he stirs **** and his galumphing base just begs for more, as if it's some gourmet treat the rest of us are obtusely missing out on.
Deal... but only for you. I don't think I have the stamina for twice-daily berating from ever forum member.
I'm totally with you, but you and I and non-Trump folk are going to have to start to figure out how to minimize the effect of all that, because it's not going away, even if Trump leaves the White House on Jan 20, or even if we never hear from him again. Someone else will be there to leverage his base for themselves the way he did, and just as much damage (and quite possibly more damage) to democracy can be done. We better start figuring out how to prevent even more damage.Sorry if anyone think this sounds harsh, but I'm getting really ******* tired of this idiot and the way he stirs **** and his galumphing base just begs for more, as if it's some gourmet treat the rest of us are obtusely missing out on.

I await the pros and the profs to let us know what the average citizen can do.

Admit we have a mass Fascist movement on our hands, and rememeber those are seldom defeated by peaceful means alone.
My own advice: buy a rifle and learn how to use it.
