Cont: 2020 Presidential Election part 3

You wouldn't believe this if it was made up. But it is true.

Trump lawsuit claims massive voter fraud in Fayette and Luzerne Counties of Pennsylvania.

Trump won both. The counties, not the lawsuits.

Counties don't matter, just the statewide totals. If they are R counties with corrupt officials who will change enough votes he can shift the statewide total.

But we saw what happened when Obama tried that, the Republicans refused to cooperate even over things they technically supported. The Republicans have come to believe that they are the only ones entitled to wield power and the voters deciding otherwise is either an aberration or the result of cheating so they are entitled to simply obstruct everything.
You're reading too much into my post, it wasn't there. You can first offer to conduct a reasonable negotiation, and if the other side doesn't respond reasonably, then you can pull out any heavy artillery you have (executive order, whatever). Offering a reasonable negotiation does not prevent doing anything you could have done if you didn't offer a reasonable negotiation.

Then you better hope those two Senate elections in GA go the Democrats way or you can look forward to a minimum of two years of guerrilla warfare from the Republicans claiming they are defending the country against an illegitimate President.

I generally would want reform handled by state referendum, over waiting for legislatures, especially GOP autocrats, to decide to honor the will of the people. This is especially true to, among other problems, rid gerrymandering and particularly thinly-veiled voter suppression efforts. How this varies from state to state will, of course, vary.

Nothing described here is necessarily nutso. Perhaps he should have won those counties by more. After all, each state is a popular vote, so it's possible that voter fraud in a county you've won deprives you of statewide victory.

Of course, the details of the alleged fraud matter.

Yes. Still seems strange. I'll wait for it. But it will be interesting to see the full details of their claim and what evidence is offered.

Biden's lead grows both in the US overall and in Pennsylvania

President Elect Joe Biden: 78,761,966

Donald "Twitter Twit" Trump. 73,155,668

Margin for America: 5,606,298

Biden: 3,420,810

Trump: 3,352,976

Margin: 67,834

Do they really think they can overcome a 68 thousand vote lead?

I think that is wrong. It's assuming their memories will last 2 or 4 years.
Memories won't matter. Trump, having tasted the sweet nectar of thousands of people cheering him on, will continue to hold his rallies as one part of his ongoing fund raising. He will also find some media outlet as a bullhorn to replace the White House lectern. This might well be effective since, comparing 2016 and 2020, he's much better as an outsider bitchin' about Biden than as an insider.

Trump's power will diminish the moment he leaves the White House if not sooner.

Diminished power? Yes. Diminished influence? Unknown.

Yes, it's unknown. Do you really believe those rallies are a money maker? What venues, Four Seasons Total Landscaping? Or maybe in the lobby of the dildo shop?

Who's going to raise those funds from, Joe the Plumber? The Secret Service for ex Presidents can't and won't provide it. And the cities he would want to hold the rallies in will demand payment for security as well as for the venues. He isn't going to be able to stiff them.

Trump retweets why he is still president

@WattersWorld
What is the future for mail-in ballots? Former Speaker of The House @newtgingrich and @jessewatters discuss, tonight. #FoxNews 8PM ET.

Gawd, the old bag of bones, Newt, just won't go away. I guess once you have the world listening to your pronouncements, it's hard to stand down. Maybe it says something about Watters that Nest is the best he can do.

You are really, really, underestimating the gullibility of a good part of the American people.

I don't underestimate that.

It's a totally different game when you're out of the White House and it's 4 years to the next election.

Personally I would love to see the Atheist faction take over, I may have to live a very long time for that to happen though.

Can't happen because atheists are not a voting bloc. While most (I would guess) are probably more liberal then conservative, atheists fill the whole political spectrum, left to right. It's very difficult, nay, impossible, to unite around a belief you don't have..

Exactly. I'm an atheist and so was Ayn Rand and I sure as hell wouldn't vote for that self centered bitch. And she has almost a cult following among Republicans.

Many of the court cases being filed all over the Country are not ours, but rather those of people that have seen horrible abuses. Our big cases showing the unconstitutionality of the 2020 Election, & the outrage of things that were done to change the outcome, will soon be filed!

We won’t let a RIGGED ELECTION steal our Country!

Agree. I'm as atheist as possible, full-on into anti-theist level and the last thing I want is for atheism of form into a "fandom" (and as always I use that term deliberately) of its own self.

Separation of Church and State, Science-based political policies, rationality and logic in all things, these are things that define me. "Atheist" is just a default non-standard.

Not believing in God no more defines me nor (inherently) grants me kinship with others than me and any random person not believing in fairies or unicorns.

Sure there's (most likely) some statistical clustering among "athiest" that make it more likely they have certain social/political opinions, but they aren't and shouldn't be a voting demographic.

If two random entities on the Internet can agree on this, then I'm betting that someone on Biden's team is thinking the same way.

That someone is Pelosi. Remember back when the Dems took control of the House, House Bill #1 was a comprehensive election reform bill. I'm hoping that gets introduced as #1 again this session.

Well, the campaign had to pay the costs during the race. That same pot can continue doing so.

Yes, I know he and/or the campaign might be in debt; I'm just not willing to believe that Trump is going to go away. I could well be wrong.

Looking for a favorable venue that might be willing to agree to something and use it as a pretense to disqualify Pennsylvania's electors?

I can see it now. Some Trump supporter says, "I cheated", and Giuliani comes in and says, "See. You can't seat the electors." I suppose not seating the electors is just as good as tipping the scales to Trump. Throw Biden under 270 and send the race to the House. It's moonbat crazy, but so is Trump.

All they have to do is get a single case into the Scotus and every vote counted after (whenever Trump last had a lead) will be thrown out. Votes mean nothing, except in the SOTUS.

Let me guess, he'll file the case in two weeks.

Sure, that's what a Trump supporter and Rudy will say. But there is no legal avenue to pull that off. I'm just waiting to see the details of this big lawsuit Trump is touting. I'll bet they have crap.

FYI: Pennsylvania certification deadline is a week from tomorrow. Georgia's is this Friday. Arizona's is two weeks from tomorrow. They are running out of time.

I'm a pessimistic SOB, and I see no way they can flip Pennsylvania. And the law doesn't provide for States to have their legislators choose Electors unles that is the law going into the election.

The courts also have no law that allows them to deny electors either.
