Yes, there were protests. I don't recall allegations that the election was fraudulent. Correct me if I'm wrong.

Being terribly upset with the process and protesting to express your frustration is one thing. Claiming that the election was fraudulent is quite another. The latter poses a real threat for a democracy if it is accepted by a large and passionate subset.

I have the technical ability... but I don't have the patience to do the research. If someone already had the winner (don't need the margins) by each congressional district, it wouldn't be too hard to calculate what a split EC would have produced.

Luckily, 270 to Win has done it for 2016 and 2012. It looks like Trump would still have won in 2016, but not by as much.

Proportional Popular would have caused some problems - 3rd party took enough to put both main parties below the threshold.

I see where you're getting that, but that's not quite where I was going.

I am not sold on the "stealing" aspect of it, which implies that he's trying to do something illegal and to cheat. I'm quite sure he's trying to be a pain the backside. And he might very well believe that there are fraudulent votes or other shenanigans, I don't know. I'm not a mind reader. It's partly because I'm not a mind reader that I'm objecting to the insinuation of malice.

I don't think the Democrats would have pursued the same ends using the same means though. Clinton, had she been in a position where the EC votes in borderline states could have changed the outcome, could very reasonably (imo) challenged those votes and demanded a recount - it would have been in her best interests (and the interest of the party) to do so.

He doesn't believe anything. He simply will do or say anything to try and get his way. He's a congenital liar without a shred of integrity or character. He'd beat his own mother to death with a softball bat if there was enough money on the line.
 
Tucker says there is new information about dead people voting in the General Election. He will investigate tonight apparently.

I've lived in Mississippi all my life, practically speaking, and I still don't get the cognitive dissonance that must be involved in proudly, even ostentatiously, flying the flag of the United States, and then, immediately below it, the flag of some folks who were traitors to and levied war against the United States.
