A lot of them barely saw him at all. They "saw" that he built the wall, that he loves all Americans, and that he was working hard to beat "the China Virus" and those evil terrorists of Cobra Black Lives Matter.

Are these folks right? Nope. But they believe it, apparently.

What to do about them? No clue, I tend to stay away from such people, since voting Cheeto Benito means you aren't my friend - and that this is your decision. I said in 2016 that it's up to white people to deal with these people, and my view remains unchanged on this.

Possible. I strongly believe Trump wanted the press conference to be at the Four Seasons Hotels. We may never know the truth.

It is most frightening that millions people could vote for a known pathological liar when such a characteristic is precisely what a politician should never ever be known as to hold office at any level.

FFIW, lying tends to be much more "acceptable" if one perceives the liar as lying for their benefit. That can be said to apply quite poignantly to a lot of Republicans, regardless, though. It's not like it's a secret that many Republican politicians lie quite brazenly, after all. Add to that the constant obsequious BS that the right wing spews about Trump and the masses that direct their time elsewhere can be fooled without too much difficulty.
