Did Hannity really mean news organizations are being split/torn/broken apart by their bias? What would be the two pieces being separated by this process? What is the "rift" that's being created within any given news organization by this process?

It sounds like he put "riven" where another word really belongs, and he meant that they're full of bias, or thoroughly corrupted by it, or slaves to it, or blinded by it... but I haven't come up with a real word that sounds anything like "riven" that would fit for such a meaning.

I would guess that he thought that "riven" was the past-perfect* for "rife."

*Or whatever- it's been like 45 years since high-school English for me, so cutten me some slack.

(Or, yeah, "riddled")

There are now reports that Jared Kushner went to talk to Trump, to convince him to concede.

Later, Melania went to to him to try.

He's probably talking about Fox News. The news part of the organization is at odds with the pundit part of the organization.

They just need to tighten the front. Steiner's attack will bring everything under control.

It appears that even by this time, many of the major Republican figures have not done so, either.
On a Sunday news show today two Republicans, a senator and a governor, kept referring to Vice President (rather than President Elect) Biden.

Republicans over the next two years: But you have to compromise with us!!!

I don't think Ivanka sitting in his lap would do the trick, so to speak.

I think that's more likely to fail than succeed, although that's not saying much at all, given the consequences. Those Repub state legislators who might do such a thing would have to consider whether they will face a majority of their constituents who would rightly see them as stealing their vote and their democracy. But that would be a district-by-district decision for each legislator. How many districts in what state went for Biden but elected a Repub legislator?

Then, you'd have to get the SCOTUS to agree with a dubious legal strategy, which, of course, is entirely possible.

I've exhaled, but I haven't popped the cork on the champagne yet. We're through the first door (election results), but there might be a second door (SCOTUS) yet to pass through.

Twitter is calling this the most Spinal Tap "Stonehenge" moment of Trump's presidency so far.

The rumour, which seems credible, is that Trump announced the Four Seasons before they'd tried to book anything, and then they had to find somewhere when the hotel was unavailable.

That is insane.

What a clown show.

I don't buy your excuse at all. People vote for those who represent their principles.

The 70 million people who voted for Trump saw him lying day after day for almost four years.

It is most frightening that millions people could vote for a known pathological liar when such a characteristic is precisely what a politician should never ever be known as to hold office at any level.

Trump claimed he would Make America Great Again but it was a pathological lie he made America Worse Than Ever.

Who puts their their trust in known pathological liars?

You're assuming that they're seeing in him the same thing you do. Do you think that all Scientologists see L. Ron Hubbard as the fraud that he was based on the evidence available to everyone? Joseph Smith was another opportunistic liar. Do you think everyone who followed him to Illinois knew he was a fraud simply because the evidence was so clear? People still send gobs of money to sleazy televangelists, and they still seek the guidance of predatory charlatans who do nothing more than simple hot/cold reading tricks.

Some probably recognized Trump's lies, but most of his supporters simply employed cognitive dissonance to see what they wanted to see, just like any other cult.

Some do. But I have been asking people questions for decades why they voted for who they did and the vast majority are clueless. They know a meme or two. They know little about the actual facts.

You must have missed the vast majority of people who voted for Biden.

They don't believe that Trump is a pathological liar. Seriously, they don't. Anyone who applies a bare minimum of critical thought to the matter would agree with you. But they don't do that.

People who support Trump have admitted he is a pathological liar.

These people are afraid that the world is being taken away from them. They see the influx of immigrants and people of color demanding their rights as an end to the world. It's not. Most however probably don't hate these people, they are simply afraid of the unknown and possible upheaval. It's totally irrational. But Trump and the GOP etc preyed on those fears.

It's not that racism is a principle, it's that the GOP is framing it all as a zero sum game and they are buying it.

A pathological liar cannot help anyone.

He said "riven" because Trump will be myst.

He promised to run the country like he ran his business.
It ended with Rudy Giuliani in a parking lot next to a dildo shop,
