2020 Presidential Election part 2

Trump has apparently locked himself into his own little bubble, like Hitler ordering non-existent divisions. NRK reports "his advisors have apparently struggled to convince him he was losing the election."

He really is like the Führer in the bunker at this point. Maybe by January he'll be trying to convince his family members to take cyanide pills.

At the drive-in rally where P-E Biden is scheduled to speak, I see a lot of pickup trucks, but I don't see any "Biden" flags. Only American ones.

I'm sure that is on purpose. Biden wants this to be about the country and not him. As opposed to Trump where everything is about him.

Hopefully, much sooner.

I'm surprised that Trump hasn't called a press conference at the same time Biden is speaking to try to deflect attention. Maybe he's afraid nobody will show up?
Trump must realise that, as of now, he's the loser. Anyone sent to cover the loser instead of the winner enters the scene piled high with resentment, and will not be kind to him.

Georgia's two seats are going to run-off election next month.
Biden is currently leading in GA by around 9000 votes (so it's possible, even likely, that his EC total will go from 290 to 306 pretty shortly); I'd like to think that that energy may carry over into the run-off. But pessimism as a habit is a hard one to overcome; and if there's one thing four years of Trump has done to me, it's made me a pessimist.
I don't think North Carolina or Alaska has been officially "called' yet but they are considered safe Red, although I think there's some sliver of hope for North Carolina.

I think Tillis in NC is also going to need to go to a run-off- the latest I'm seeing there gives him only 48.7%, with 100% reporting.

"We must not be enemies. Though passion may have strained, it must not break our bonds of affection. The mystic chords of memory will swell when again touched, as surely they will be, by the better angels of our nature.”

I've been thinking about this quote for a couple of years. It is the number one reason I have wanted to see Trump go. We all have differences, but leaders seek to unite the country and Trump only sought to divide us. Instead of appealing to our better angels he only called on our demons and insecurities.

The number one reason I wanted to see Trump go was because he's a sick, demented lying bastard. It's not as poetic as your reason.
