I'm not sure I agree. Dems know that any hope of even getting Cabinet members confirmed in a timely manner, on top of any legislation, depends on this. I think motivation will be high on both sides.

A group of heavily armed protestors have now joined Trump supporters in front of the Arkansas state Capitol.

Capitol police have brought in squad cars and now making a human barrier between the two groups.

"Blue lives matter", the "blue" referring to the uniforms of the US police force, was a troll movement Russian trolls started as a response to the African-American community's "Black Lives Matter", allegedly to protest acts of violence against police officers.

First of all, don't overestimate USA's importance to the world. It is important, but not essential. And ... Biden ... Well, he can only be an improvement. At least the man seems to have integrity.

From a purely selfish viewpoint - it means that Johnson cannot pretend that he can renege on the Good Friday Agreement and get a US trade deal.
