When Trump was being impeached one of the Republican outcries was that the impeachment was "like Pearl Harbor".

Alito sent an order requiring PA officials to segregate the late ballots.

PA SOS had already issued that guidance, Trump team was unhappy because it was non-binding. Alito was the one to issue it because he oversees the 3rd Circuit. I believe it is an enforcement order, not a court order. This adds force of law to the SOS guidance, which is nuanced, but important (it is a state official originating the order).

Maybe - he's using the lawsuits as a fundraiser lure, and the proceeds are split 50/50 between paying for the lawsuits and paying down his campaign debt. Knowing Trump, much of the campaign debt is probably owed to his own companies. He' probably making money off these lawsuits, no matter how frivolous they are.

Better that than ripping off the taxpayers. Though I have little doubt he'll continue to wring every dime out of taxpayers wherever he can.

Biden seems willing to cool it on declaring victory, even though he's obviously going to win. It's nice to see some level of restraint in someone certain to become president soon. The previous president was such a ridiculous, posturing clown, that this new style of calm reasonableness will take some getting used to.

Declaring is a mere formality. Best to just get on with developing your transition team which I think is what he's doing.

I don't see how firing off random crap comments is equal to a legitimate interest in global affairs (both of which are evident on this site), but maybe that's just me.
