Totally off topic.

I'm not sure it is. But it definitely is one of the two best German language WW2 movies.

I'm curious, what do you think is the other best WW2 movie?

Exactly. His supporters see each other in broad daylight now instead of whispered comments in dive bars.

Trump will go away. When his rabble base finds a slightly smarter and more dignified leader, they will disown Trump as everything that was wrong with conservativeism without a second thought. Trump is the scab, not the wound.

That, and they're still probably pissed about his treatment of Mattis. That General was well-liked by his troops.

Someone put up a graphic (i can't find it now) of Muscogee County, GA, where Fort Benning is located. It went some 65% to Biden IIRC.

I think we'll first have yo see whether the ship really goes down. Linsay G. has already reinserted his head up Trump's ass.

Oh, Limbaugh is probably at the top of the list of the ones who you'd expect to deny he ever supported Trump in the first place.

By next week, he won't be talking about Trump at all, as if he never existed.

Unfortunately, inauguration day is January 20th. We have 75 days left of a President who probably feels like a cornered rat right now, has absolutely no morality and is not above sinking to any level whatsoever to hold onto power. Its gonna be a rough 2 and a half months, so actually yeah I'm gonna have a snifter or five myself.

Friendly reminder.

Being dead does not stop Haile Selassie from being alive for rastafarians. Same for Elijah Muhammad. For trump supporters, there is no reason trump not being president has to stop him from being president.

They may go with someone a bit less crass this time around. A person with a bit of experience and polish who knows how to run campaigns and act as a part of the government. Someone who can get more done, not just tweet all the time. No need to go full clown this time around since we can say the quiet parts out-loud without fear. He may be a bit old, but my money is on David Duke.

Agreed, but I think DD is too KKK to fly in the USA. I'd expect more of a Dicky Spencer type, if he had not already lost his credibility. I for one will be howling to the treetops about the next up-and-comer who seems ' not so bad'. He will be worse, because he won't be so cartoonish, and will attract those fence sitters who could not stomach Agent Orange.

Not to mention Trump's comments about dead soldiers being losers, given he himself evaded conscription.
 
Speaking of deserting sinking ships can't help but notice that certain members of the board are suddenly absent from the discussion...
