Nitpick: Trump will have to pay if the margin after the re-count is above .25% (which it will be).

I believe Jill Stein had to pay about $3.5 million in 2016 for her recount.

Apparently Putin's aide called the doctor this morning, thinking he was having a stroke.

So he's asking his followers to raise money for recounts that might not even have a snowball's chance in hell of changing anything (unless Biden wins a state by only a few hundred votes). What a good person they're voting for.

I think the point is that it's silly to talk about "you" having the right to vote if you aren't even establishing who "you" are and whether you've already exercised that right in that particular election cycle yet or not.

It's not unreasonable to require people to prove who they are when they go to vote. In fact, it is flat out wildly insane to not do so.

What do you think you are talking about? The U.S. "left" is far to the right of most of Western Europe, Japan, even Canada. Today's right is far to the right of what conservatism used to be. Nixon created the EPA and tried to get a universal health insurance plan through Congress. Reagan supported an immigration reform bill. He would be considered aa bleeding-heart liberal by today's standards. Sen. McCain supported a later immigration reform bill. The U.S. right-wing hasn't been as extreme -- and as fundamentally anti-American -- since the McCarthy era.

I really like Michigan's voter ID law.

But, bringing it up this morning is just a feeble attempt to delegitimize Biden's apparent victory.

I believe there should be investigations into allegations of voter fraud, because it's important that people respect and have trust in the democratic process in America. And I believe those investigations will show that there was no significant level of fraud.

I mentioned the news conference in Pennsylvania earlier. i also watch the chief election official of Wisconsin talking about her state's election. Once again, what she emphasized was that her job was to count every vote, and that the process was incredibly transparent and could be observed at every step. The system is working.

Well there’s 250k ballots in ATL that need to be counted and will likely heavily favor Biden. GA isn’t done. PA is rapidly closing with hundreds of thousands of ballots left. NC is also incredibly close.
