I dunno. I'm an independent as is my wife, and we've voted against Trump both times, but the interesting thing is that my sons-in-law are Republicans and both have voted for Biden. Or so they swear.

Fair enough. There is wiggle room, for sure, and there must be otherwise the presidency would not shift from one party to the other. That said, it probably still is the biggest determining factor in how people vote.

It says right in the post you quoted "for Biden." I can tell you that here in Georgia there isn't a choice of "against Trump." You have for Biden, for Trump, or write-in.
