Listen everything about this election is either a canary in a coal mine or a red herring and we won't know which until after the wave form collapses. People are just hedging their bets by pointing out as many "X factors" as they can hoping they'll be able to claim they predicted the outcome after the fact.

Because people don't want to be right as much as they want to be the "See! See! I knew that Kanye West was going to make an out of nowhere surprise victory. I said (in a sea of contradictory predictions but never mind those...) that a candidate with a 5 letter last name had never won in a year that ends in zero....." guy.

Results of the ballot-counting that is under way now won’t be released and posted until after the polls close on Election Day, Nov. 3.

538 gives Biden a greater chance of winning Mississippi than of Trump winning Minnesota.

Trump is holding a rally in Minnesota today. Maybe Biden should be campaigning in Mississippi.

Yes, but as the article says, the early voting numbers are much lower than expected in some key districts. It seems that in Florida, the demographics that the Democrats are depending on in key districts are not voting. Of course they could turn out on the day but it's more likely that the GOP will get their voters out.

It seems that, thanks to Covid-19, the Democrats' "ground game" is next to non-existent.

And the opposite appears true in Texas. But I admit I don't have a clue about what's going to happen. And I'm confident you don't either.

The number of early votes should mean the election is pretty well over as soon as the first results are issued.

It's probably pretty much over now. That said, they won't announce any results until the polls close in that State.

And what's with this "not voted"? How do you know ballots are in the mail but not yet received?

Attendance has been limited to 250 people, and not his paying cronies, either. The PDJT's gotta be so pissed about that, thinking what an "incredible" waste of time that trip will be. I laugh on him. Ha, ha!
