2020 Presidential Election

I know how badly people in my circles want Trump out. I don't see that kind of enthusiasm to keep Trump in.

I do hope the early turnout means something good.

I think the amount of early voting is being overplayed a bit. People are voting earlier but I doubt if the overall turnout will increase as much.

Biden will poll just fine in PA. But the Trump campaign is pulling out just about every dirty legal trick they can to make certain mail-in ballots are not counted. They've lost a number of them but also won a few.

Two days ago, Trump lost the attempt to reject ballots based on signature comparisons.

Five days ago, Trump lost an attempt to limit the time allowed to count mail-in ballots (counting starts on election day morning). (the Supreme Court was tied on this, letting previous ruling stand.). Trump is trying to get another ruling on this.

Six days ago, Trump lost the attempt to reject ballots received after the election (but postmarked prior to the elections).

In September, Trump won the case that allowed the rejection of 'naked ballots', i.e. mail-in votes that did not use the security envelope.

Enough of these tricks work and Trump can win PA, even if he lost by twice as much as he won in 2016.

And there'll be a new Republican Justice prior to the election.

President @realDonaldTrump makes a small “off the record” stop in Levant, Maine at Treworgy Family Orchards.
Announced last minute and THOUSANDS of people show up!!

I'm getting really tired of being in a swing state.

This is what I have seen in ads during a football halftime, in sequence:

Trump ad: BIDEN SUXX!!!!
PA Voter ad: Be sure to vote by mail!
SOuth Jersey GOP House candidate: My opponent is a LIBERALLLLL!!!!
Trump ad: BIDEN SUXXXXX!!!!!!
Democratic Ad: Be sure to use the security envelope when filing your vote-by-mail!
Trump Ad: I AM DA GREATEST PRESIDENT EVAR!!!!
Voter Project Ad: Hey! Did you know you should vote by mail?

This is exhausting.

Under the last administration, 5,000 square miles of ocean off the coast of New England were closed to commercial fishermen & Maine lobstermen—threatening to cripple family businesses and cost America’s fishermen millions.
President @realDonaldTrump reopened it in June!

From what you posted here, there are mostly losses.

The projections I've seen are 150 million or higher, which is substantially higher than 2016.

I'll believe it when I see it, and I hope none of the projections are counting on higher turnout.

Reversing the "Red Mirage" into a "Blue Mirage" is a double-edged sword.

If it were a swing state I'd suspect shenanigans, but it's Texas.
In this election, Texas is a swing state.

He's competent at at least one thing - pissing off major hunks of the electorate.
The downside of making your whole campaign about exploiting polarisation and "triggering the libs" seems to be that they turn out in record numbers to vote you out.

What do you base that doubt on? As opposed to being neutral: we don't know?

As for the new SCOTUS, these are state issues, this isn't FL recounting chads.

People seem to think it's a given the SCOTUS is going to magically declare Trump the winner. That is nonsense.

Provincial and city or municipality level elections aren't held on the same day, and usually, not even in the same year, as the Federal elections. Plus, we don't have this bizarre notion that things like dogcatchers and medical examiners should be elected positions. We hire professionals for stuff like that.

The most bizarre vote is for judges. That's just D.U.M.B. Who follows the decisions a judge makes?
