I don't want him to leave the country, I want him to stay to be be held accountable.
Given how he does most of through Twitter and other channels, I'm not sure if he'd be any less irritating as a Moscow resident.

Then again, once he's no longer POTUS, he might actually finally get kicked out for all his TOS violations, because his tweets aren't of importance to the nation anymore :D .

I too wanna hear the lamentations of the trumpkins, though :D .

You are absolutely right. People lie to pollsters. People refuse to talk to pollsters, and again, the willingness to talk to a pollster or tell the truth to a pollster is not equal among Democrats and Republicans. This was a major element in 2016 polls that showed Clinton with a huge lead over Trump. Sometimes they called it the "shy Trump voter", people afraid to admit they were voting for Trump because Hillary supporters were so adamantly against Trump, but there were other reasons as well, and everything that made people not talk to poll takers or lie to them has only gotten worse in the last four years.

I'll go a bit further. The biggest reason people are lying about their chosen candidate is likely due to being called or thought of as "Racist" or "stupid" if they support a Republican candidate. Even though it is a ridiculous charge against 99.9% of voters, the Left's insistent use of terms like "Racist" and the like of other derogatory terms used about Trump voters has created a situation where polls absolutely cannot work accurately anymore. Now pollsters try to come out with new questions that address this. "Who do you think your neighbor will vote for?" As if they also seem to believe most people have the intellect of a Chimp. The system for polling is indeed broken and will remain so until the Left stops the petty personal attacks against Trump voters. There's no need for me to try and convince you that what I'm telling you is true, simply look at the posts within this very forum.

No need for that. You ever heard about writing over paper ballot? No, actual shenanigans are elsewhere. Besides, system like "write-once-only" assumes it would simply cost too much to overwrite sufficient amount of results to affect election.

Just do electronic equivalent of ballot stuffing. Though if done right, it would require like gazilion years to forge cryptographic signs for all those votes.

You are making it up. Plothole in your story is marked in yellow.

You seem to not be aware statisticians are dealing with that kind of noise all the time. Someone also would wonder how much impact actually these kind of outliers have.

Somehow I very, very doubt there is gigantic mass of Trump supporters lying in polls about their preferences. Nice insinuation though.

I will say for you what you actually wanted to say in that tall tale. "Polls are lying because I don't like what they say REEEE". Well, someone is lying here for sure.

You will never see the forest. And I'm ok with that. It's obvious to me you've never once made a large political donation. And I'm ok with that too. Peace.

Come with me Chris. I can show you hundreds of people without ID. You live inside a bubble.

Of all the stupid arguments for voter ID, this one may be the stupidest. Here's a hint- go back and re-read The Don's post, paying especial attention to the very first thing he said in it. Then ask yourself- if there were no ID (for age) requirements to buy alcohol/tobacco, would there be a problem requiring a solution? I don't know about you, but I sure as hell tried to buy beer before I turned 18 (which was the legal age for beer at the time); the only "bad" side effect is that teenagers with cars have a harder time getting drunk. And then ask yourself (since it's your analogy, after all) if you have any evidence of a similar, prevalent problem that needs the same solution with voting.

The fact that you don't know anyone without an ID is more a factor of who you have been associating.

For example, there are a lot of older low income (minorities) who do not have a government ID that could be used for voting...
- Many older people were born at home.... so no birth certificate (which is often needed to get other forms of ID.)
- Low income means they cannot travel, so no passport
- No vehicle, so no driver's license

Even if the government can provide an ID for free, the person may have to take time off work to go to whatever government office, which if you are on an hourly wage, you may find detrimental financially. (Not to mention the fact that even a 'free' photo ID may require supporting documents, such as a birth certificate, which may not be available.)

Compounding the problem is that it is a greater problem for some demographic groups than others. Supposedly 8% of U.S. citizens of voting age lack photo ID, whereas 25% of african American voters do.

See: ACLU

Ummm... first of all, not everybody smokes or drinks.

Secondly, not everyone needs photo ID to buy cigarettes or alcohol, you only need it if you LOOK close to the age of majority. If you are a senior citizen going to buy wine at the local shop, I doubt you will need to provide ID.

Pick a state, any state and read about why we need voter ID. Personally, I don't like anyone placing their thumb on the scale. Anything that prevents election fraud is a good thing.

BTW, whom do you think does not have an ID in the US? Curious.

NPR: California Eases Off Legal Threats Over GOP Unauthorized Ballot Drop Boxes
At a press conference Friday, Attorney General Xavier Becerra and Secretary of State Alex Padilla, both Democrats, didn't announce any additional enforcement action against the party, saying the California GOP agreed to modify how they were collecting ballots....

Padilla and Becerra reiterated that while ballot collection is allowed, state rules require that whoever assists with delivering a ballot sign the envelope to record a chain of custody. But they also said ballots without that signature would not be rejected either....

Tom Hiltachk, the state party's general counsel, disputed Padilla's characterization of the election law during a call with reporters Wednesday, saying the secretary of state didn't address a subdivision that reads "a ballot shall not be disqualified solely because the person authorized to return it did not provide on the identification envelope his or her name, relationship to the voter, or signature."

Padilla acknowledged that provision during Friday's press conference, saying the state would not punish a voter over the actions of the state party....

I'm unable to read the Wapo piece as I'm not a subscriber, and likely never will be.

However, from the title I can assume it's an opinion piece about why the US voter should feel as they have been conned by President Trump. The reply to this question is simple in my case, he's made good on every promise that concerned me in 2016. The wall is going up, I've seen it. We pulled out of the Iran deal. Taxes were lowered which has meant more money in my pocket. Drug prices, specifically insulin, are much lower than before, again more money in my pocket. We are now energy independent. My gasoline is less than $2.00 per gallon and I even filled up a few times this year at $0.99/gal. He's cleaning out the swamp in DC though it seems very deep and still needs more work. No new wars, and this was a biggie for me. But the most important reason I will vote for Trump again is because he's not a politician, he's a businessman. He has added money to my pocket and yours too if you're an American whether you like him or not. I ask myself the Reagan question when considering a President's performance: "Am I better off now than I was 4 years ago?" The answer for me is "Yes definitely." How about you? Are you better off than you were?

So all you care about is your bank account.. Nice.

There's too much here to answer. You obviously live in the Fox bubble. But even if we haven't taken a financial hit personally, no one in America is better off today than they were four years ago. Our kids can't go to school, we can't go to a movie or a restaurant, we're working in our basements or at jobs where our lives are at risk, whole industries are on the edge of collapse. Not to mention hundreds of thousands of people dead. No, nobody is better off.

And here's a link to the Post story at another site. If money's all that matters to you, you should at least take some interest in Trump's corruption.

So voter supression is just fine and dandy with ypu.
Let's cut to the chase. Preventing Voter Fraud amounts to keeping the inferior races from voting.

Yeah, most Trump supporters don't mind actually being stupid or racist. But having it pointed out to them is way too much.

Biden also got about $550 from me over the last few months. Unfortunately, I missed the live Star Trek web event that donors got invited to. But, if I get to watch Trump and his supporters get crushed and driven before me and listen to the lamentations of their women, that will be entertainment enough for me.

If Trump loses the most likely thing to be crushed will be your 401K as most investors will immediately liquidate their stocks and move the proceeds to Gold and Silver. But hey you never know I could be wrong this time (for the first time).

The sky is falling!

Let's hear it for white, male land owners. Just like the founding fathers imagined.

But can we also require the militias to swap their AK47s for muskets?

Most Trump supporters are used to being lied about. After a while the insults and false accusations become like water off a duck's back. Most importantly the insulter must be an American for it to even count in the first place.

Yet there are many who may label me as a "Racist" or "stupid" etc, which I'm not and I'm perfectly fine knowing the person providing those labels is without doubt, a liar.
