I've given them a good deal of thought, I guess it's just that there isn't much to discuss since we haven't heard updates on them.

But again, I've been thinking about them a lot. Being a staffer at Trump's personal kindergarden must be stressful enough as it is without them also having to deal with contracting a deadly virus :covereyes .

Why? If there were any justice in the universe (yes, yes I know, there's not one single particle of it Dorfl proved that), he would be currently dying a slow, lingering, terrifying and crucifying death in a paupers' flop house.

To the highlighted, when speaking of murder, I think that it's worth adding the other acts of sabotage - especially towards blue states, that were fairly certainly done as part of larger strategies of trying to use the pandemic to hurt blue states for political gain.

A better question, then, is... what is there to discuss about them? First and foremost, we lack information, given the available reporting, so there's not really much that is to be said.

I'm surprised he didn't throw himself on the ground and pound the ground with his feet and fists while screaming "Sir says I don't have to wear a mask if I don't want to!"

Could be. I bet someone has been tasked with keeping tabs on others apparently infected in this event. If people die I'm pretty sure the White House correspondents will hear about it. Other than that, there is not much to report on ... the size of the WH cluster was newsworthy, but uneventful recoveries not so much.

ETA: I do wonder whether the others infected got the full "cocktail" of plasma, antivirals, steroids etc.

Yeah but Trump doesn't doesn't believe the virus effects everyone and was a universal problem, and for that reason it's good that he got it. Trump is responsible for the national response to the virus, but frequently publicly states how foolish the precautions people are taking are and encourages people to disregard them. Him getting Covid, and a serious case that required immediate medical intervention revealed how wrong he has been about that and may have changed millions of people's minds about that.

The quote I saw on CNN was "I'll kiss the guys and the beautiful women and the -- everybody. I'll just give everybody a big, fat kiss."


It seemed like he was about to say "...and the ugly women" or something equally insensitive and veered away at the last moment.

That is correct, and I have read from Wharton MBA graduates that the undergraduate course is just as much respected. The most that can be said is that there is no evidence of trump actually doing well.
 
I am wondering if the REGN-COV-2 antibody cocktail Trump took might influence the test for natural antibodies.
It is unlikely that this has been properly tested.
