The first reported instance of a Covid-19 case in the US was confirmed on January 21. On January 31, Trump announced a restriction on all incoming travel from China, effective on February 2.

Blaming Trump for Covid is a Democratic strategy doomed to fail.

So why does the US have 7,500,000 cases? Do you really feel that Trump has done enough?

Masks are appropriate precautions for many situations. An infected person wearing a mask is much less likely to spread it. An uninfected person wearing a mask is somewhat less likely to become infected.

The mask on Trump would do more good than the masks of those working near Trump, but he couldn't be bothered. Trump is currently contagious. Just by wearing a mask, he is greatly reducing the probability he spreads the disease.

His refusal to do so is a big ******* deal. He cares so little about the people working for him that he won't wear a mask to greatly decrease the odds of spreading COVID to them.

Be honest. Does that not say something pretty damned disturbing about the man?

I'm intrigued what it will do amongst his allies.

Knowing that he only cares about himself is one thing, but seeing him actively infecting you and those around you must make some of his political allies angry. I doubt that many of those suffer from lack of self-esteem, so some must be thinking that they'd like to see Trump suffer.

They told us to keep social distance, they told us to wash our hands and they told us to wear masks in public transportation and anywhere else where it was not possible to keep distance. And they did it themselves, to be good examples for the rest of us.

And you know what? There was no panic.

I believe this is true for most western countries.

Are Americans really so fragile that they have to have the truth hidden from them to not panic? Personally I had expected more from them, but I guess from what you are saying that I was wrong.

How is China responsible for American border control?

All countries secured their own borders because of Covid. People leaving were not their responsibilities.

Or are you saying American planes are banned by the US government to fly to other countries, for the good of those countries?

Can you find any western leader that lied and downplayed the pandemic to their citizens like Trump did?

Lest you think this is some kind of purely partisan issue, let me say the following (Note I only speak for myself):

Remember all those other Republicans who ran for Presidency in 2016 against Trump? Remember them? There were quite a few.

ANY one of those guys would have done an infinitely better job than the clownshoe that is in office right now.
