What is it with the willingness of Trump’s doctors to lie in support of their patient? I know that they have to respect Trump’s privacy but do they have to serve as personal cheer leaders in a non-professional way?

However you spin Dr. Conley’s ra-ra comments they are clearly carefully worded to support Trump’s agenda. Just look at the attempt to skirt around the truth about oxygen. He chief of staff’s comments and Trump’s lack of tweets tell a much more complicated story.

While lawmakers are still keeping on skeleton staffs in the Capitol during the pandemic, there’s evidence of some fatigue. On Thursday, a sizable minority of staffers walked around the Russell Senate Office Building without masks, for example and a growing number of members, particularly Republicans, have gradually asked staff to return to their offices. The foot traffic in the complex has picked up substantially in recent weeks.

Long standing tradition of covering up how sick the POTUS is. Old habits are hard to break even when they are clearly counterproductive.
 
If Trump is doing well, they'll tell us he's doing well. If Trump is on a ventilator, they'll tell us he's doing well. Their #1 goal is not to create panic on wall street or in the populace. That has been shown time and time again in our history when it comes to the president's health. Why would it be different now? Especially this close to an election?
 
Important to note that Ronna McDaniel tested positive after attending a fundraiser with Trump and others at the Trump Intl on the 25th. She was not at the White House event the next day. So it appears Covid has been spreading in POTUS’s orbit at least since Sept 25

I don't see what all the fuss is about. A few old people with comorbidities might die, but that happens every day. These old people aren't essential to the economy, so everything should be fine!
