Trump and his acolytes seem to have a problem with the players making their protests where they can be seen, which is kind of the point of a protest- "they don't have to make a political statement at the game!" Of course, standing for the anthem with hand over heart is also a political statement, which, oddly, the trumpkins have no problem with. So it would seem that Mr "no cancel culture" Trump is all for cancelling when it's something he doesn't want to see or hear. Maybe a neutral solution? No national anthem? Nah, too easy- Trumpers don't want to just forbid one expression, they want to force their own; and if that isn't cancel culture, I don't know what is.

Well, Bolton was just on Blitzer agreeing with LTC Vindman that Trump is Putin's "Useful Idiot". Bolton even laughed out loud when Blitzer gave him the quote. I'm pretty sure Twitter is fixing to explode.

So I've been texting with my two brothers, one lives in Oregon the other Southern California. They report no exploding trees.
