Of course Cuomo said nice things about Trump. If governors didn't they were screwed over by Trump. I hope that comes out as a rebuttal to Trump's boasting.

Hmm. After a quick search, I think that it's worth adding some context here.

Wheeler and Police Chief Chuck Lovell said investigators were still working to establish the sequence of events leading to the fatal shooting late Saturday in downtown Portland, and they provided few new details about the investigation.

Lovell said it remained to be determined whether the shooting was connected to skirmishes that night between a caravan of protesters driving through the city’s downtown district in pickup trucks waving pro-Trump flags and counter-protesters on the streets.

Video on social media showed individuals in the beds of the pickups firing paint-balls and spraying chemical irritants at opposing demonstrators as they rode by, while those on the street hurled objects at the trucks and tried to block them.

He said the shooting was preceded by a “political rally involving a vehicle caravan that traveled through Portland for several hours.” He said those vehicles had departed from a prescribed protest route that was supposed to funnel them along Interstate 5, outside Portland, to the site of the rally in neighboring Clackamas County.

He said that by the time the shooting took place, the caravan had already cleared that section of downtown, and that there were no police at the spot when it happened.

It's pretty clear that they were looking for trouble and had been harming protestors, which makes it rather irresponsible to just jump to conclusions about what happened, exactly. That's if the person is indeed one of the radicals involved with that.

Someone should have dipped one of those "blue flags" in Jay's blood, then send this 'blood banner' to Trump, by which to ceremonially consecrate other banners of various bands of his 'Brownshirts.' And compose their version of the Horst Wessel Leid, to belt forth as they storm the streets and knock heads.

Jesus. All this stuff really is bringing up visions of late '20s Germany.

I certainly hope that if they do win in November, that prosecutors DO go after Stubby McBonespurs and his hell-spawn.

So what is it, Donny? A completely unorganised bunch of rioters and looters just in Portland OR? Or a well-funded network of anarchists trying to "take down the president" and so, presumably, extremely well organised nationally.

All the violence happens under the Trump Presidency, and yet Biden is responsible?

Don't Republicans feel ashamed that their leader feels less powerful than someone with no political position whatsoever?

Hate to say it, but... this looks like a case of you not reading fully. Trump is saying that the MSM is misreporting and there actually is a vicious and well organized anarchist plot to overthrow Trump's rule.

I'm dubious. I assume briefings at that level are *highly* scripted, vetted and reviewed by security people (especially if loud-mouth Trump is a recipient). The level of extemporaneous discussion is probably quite limited.

That's also quite correct. However, answers returned by Donald "Two-Week" Trump have lost all their relevance, especially in the fast-paced world of international affairs.
