Riots, looting, vandalism, etc.

I agree and the charges should be dropped immediately.
It's a brilliant political move to immediately charge him with murder. That satisfies the entire left wing and the anarchists.

But the prosecutors may know full well that they are going to lose or a judge will just cancel any trial and make an immediate judgement.

Somebody has to set him free but at least you don't immediately start with ramped up rioting and more killings.

Again though, the anarchist soldiers are going to be the big losers in any battle.

So now the resident racists have to not only defend police brutality, but the murders of protesters by armed vigilantes. It was painful to watch this dumpster fire before, but now I just can't look away.

Same folks that form a gonga line every time they hear that a black guy was murdered by a cop or any white person. Been here since before Trayvon Marton was murdered, and it's always the same arguments from the same white supremacists.

Yeah, but used to be they’d just try handwaving and lame explanations.

Today they seem to be getting off on it.

If this country sees that civilian militias are highly effective at stopping the violent anarchists with their arsonist soldiers and looters... then this upcoming election could get more interesting. Many Democrats might do secret swings because the violent anarchy has to be stopped by whatever means available.

Antifa and BLM are covertly organized at national levels

Back in the real world, Antifa isn't really organized at all, it's just "whoever's doing anti-fascist work and claims the label". We've seen street violence against Nazi wannabes and the like - and we;ve also seen doxxing efforts, individuals infiltrating white nationalist groups to help tear them down, and so forth.

BLM is very specifically organized at the local level only, in order to respond quickly to local matters and concerns, and to avoid having a single leader that can be assassinated.

Seems to me they were always like this - from the asinine stories they invent to their masturbatory fantasies of giant black brutes to their use of the word "cuck" to insult one another. I don't know if they're genuinely hate-filled, if they secretly have some sex fantasy involving large black men and them or possibly their wives, or what, but they've never been worth giving the time of day.

In any case, I'm still rather amazed that police prefer white supremacists that routinely conspire to murder them, to the black people marching around and chanting, but it's part of why I kinda shrug when one of these boogaloo/proud boy/identity evropa nuts shoot at them. They have the resources and authority to stop them, they outright refuse to do so, so what am I supposed to say?

This is just perfect.

The first man killed by Kyle Rittenhouse was a convicted child sex offender named Joseph D Rosenbaum. He can be seen in the video below puffed up and peacocking in a menacing manner in front of armed militia saying "shoot me n-word, shoot me n-word."

https://twitter.com/AnonOpsSE/status/1298490065723760641?s=20

In the video I linked earlier, Rosenbaum can be seen chasing Rittenhouse and throwing something at him before being shot and killed.

Rosenbaum – "Shoot me n-word, shoot me n-word"

Rittenhouse – "Make me"

Rosenbaum – "okay"

One of these we universally(well, nearly so) see as immoral and wrong. The other is shrouded in moral confusion and uncertainty.

They are also not in the same ballpark when it comes to morality or even relevance. The latter isn't worth discussing in a thread where the first is discussed.

On the Kenosha shooting(s)

The kid shot in 2 locations. But following the videos I first see him hanging around and talking, once being told not to enter an area by police bullhorn. He complies.
Seems he was by himself but wanted to hang with the "green shirts" there. And he talk to others in some videos. Super young kid.

Anyway, looking at the compilation it goes like this:

For some reason a man (red mask, eventually shot in head) and 2 others with long spear-like poles are chasing gunman in white baseball cap toward the corner of the carshop/mechanic place. Red mask guy flings something forward trying to hit the gunman as all are running. Looks like a white bag filled with "??". Who knows.
Gunman turns and fires warning. Or someone fires. Maybe a roof person.
They all keep running. Pursuit continues til red mask guy drops down between the cars. I assume the white capped gunman turned and fired but you cannot see it.
Gunman keeps running but circles around a few parked cars back to the guy he shot.
See the guy with a shot to the head and immediately gets on his phone and calls it in to "??" someone.
Sees rest of the mob who were on the corner coming and decides to get out of there.
Seen on video on the phone saying "I just killed somebody" in a frightened tone as you'd expect of a kid realizing what has just happened.

People start to yell and scream "he shot him! he shot him!" and a chase ensues.
Then, about 10 seconds later, the other shots are heard. I think people have seen that video of him running and being tackled, kicked in the head and hit with the skateboard.

Gunman seen trying to surrender to the tactical vehicles, hands up, but for some reason they wont get out and get him or do not understand. Maybe they had a chat. I have seen no video of it.
Gunman goes home.

So that's it.

Everyone thought they were being a hero and now some are dead.

eta: if you want to see it for yourself, I found it last night on a reddit subforum called "ActualPublicFreakouts" and called "Full footage of Kenosha shooting"

As a matter of the law, there's a real question on whether Kyle can even claim self defense regardless. It's unlawful for a 17 year old to be carrying a rifle in the streets like this. The fact that he was committing a crime just by being there may seriously undermine what otherwise might be a strong self defense claim.

Not that I agree that he has a strong self-defense claim, but even as devil's advocate, this has a lot of bad elements for Kyle's legal defense.

A knife in his car? That's pretty weak.

I have a knife in my car. Hell, I probably have 2 knives in my car, you know how it is, things go into the glove box and disappear forever.

Does that mean I can get shot 7 times in the back by a cop?

Really enjoying the Twitter detectives blowing up the grainy video and claiming to see a knife in Blake's hand.

National Guard called out to Kenosha as protesters wreck largely black neighborhood

The National Guard was called in to quell fiery riots in Kenosha, Wisconsin — as protesters defied a curfew to loot and destroy a mostly black business area they are supposedly trying to defend following the police shooting of a local black man.
Videos on social media showed some protesters using baseball bats to systematically smash a line of parked cars. Another clip showed a man calmly lighting a fuse to torch an already smashed-up garbage truck as explosions went off around him.
The riots infuriated many locals who said the protesters were destroying the lives of black business owners and families.

Several black neighbors were seen angrily screaming at some of the rioters who torched a building that collapsed, saying “it ain’t black lives matter” when they destroy the neighborhood, according to a clip recorded by Brendan Gutenschwager.

The fires, which destroyed much of the city’s black business district, were mostly set by white protesters, local resident Porche Bennett, 31, told Reuters.

“It’s people from out of town doing this. We’ve been shopping there since we were kids and they set it on fire,” Bennett said.

So white people from out of town respond by wrecking a black neighborhood.

Tucker Carlson carrying water for a murderer on primetime TV.

Fox News White Power Hour said:
"How shocked are we that 17-year-olds with rifles decided they had to maintain order when no one else would?"

In a strange twist that shocked the world, law and order advocates are on-board with vigilantes killing protesters.

Very, very unlikely.

Showing up at your girlfriend's house when you are not supposed to be there and are threatening enough to have her call 911 makes it more likely.

Having your scared girlfriend inform law enforcement you have an outstanding felony warrant while they are in route makes it more likely.

Resisting arrest makes it more likely.

Physically fighting armed police officers makes it more likely.

Resisting arrest after being tasered makes it more likely.

Ignoring lawful commands of two police officers you just physically fought and who are now pointing guns at you makes it more likely.

Trying to enter your vehicle while being restrained by one of the officers who is now pointing a gun at you after fighting him makes it more likely.

Avoid these seven actions and you'll probably be okay.

Soldier vs. soldier.

Anyone who brings weapons to the scene is a soldier. Full stop.

Even so for weapons brought for the purpose of self-defense. You are automatically a soldier. Full stop.

"Protesters" who chased him down after attempting to provoke a fight, physically assaulted him with a skateboard and pointed a gun at him. You may ignore those three facts but I doubt a jury will.

Yeah, poor kid was just minding his own business when he crossed state lines to illegally carry a rifle at an overnight riot. Wrong place, wrong time, could happen to anyone ;)

What happened to skateboard soldier? He's right on top of the enemy soldier and beating him with the board... seemingly aiming for the head but I am not certain if that.

Was he shot? I'm sure I could find out by reading reports, but maybe someone has a quick answer.

It was skateboard vs. rifle. I do know that part.
