Surprising how many of his supporters are jumping in to agree with him and have a go at the Dems for requiring ID at their convention and even meeting together when it's not safe to vote in person supposedly.

Probably because there is plenty of evidence of trying to get into the convention fraud, but little or no evidence of voter fraud whereas there is plenty of evidence of voter ID laws being used to disenfranchise minorities.

Isn't the whole point of "October Surprises" not to telegraph them in August?
Given the ineptitude of this administration I expect that in a week they'll let slip that their October Surprise miracle is Oleander.

Or something about Hunter Biden that has nothing to do with the Pandemic.
Trump's consigliere is working diligently on an October surprise. It was supposed to come out a while back, but gee whiz, pandemic and what have you, it will have to wait until October. He reminds us, justice doesn't happen on a schedule like ordering a pizza. October it shall be.

Remember it's no guns allowed at Trump rallies or the convention. But Trump wants to do away with gun-free zones around schools.
As for virtual, there was a drive-in convention at the end. It was pretty cool.

Pence is on CBS This Morning spouting all the same old lies. Tony Dokoupil called him his lies and Pence just went barreling on repeating them and denying that he was telling lies. I.e. it appears he believes said lies. Dokoupil said there were two realities, Pence denied that saying [Trump's] reality was the only reality.

My bet is on totally american miracle vaccine personally invented by el presidento Trump that is actually repackaged russian vaccine leftovers (you know, those that did not passed what passes for "quality testing" in Russia) provided for muchos $$ by Trump's master.
This. An actual "Free Market" (like all forms of Freedom) scares the crap out of them.

Actual "free market" as I understand this term is as bad. Only form of capitalism acceptable to me is capitalism with boot on it's face. That's it, regulations and other constraints that at least minimize abuse and exploitation inherent and inevitable in system where greed is virtue.
In context of unrestricted capitalism, freedom to abuse and exploit others in name of greed, you mean.

The most extreme version of the free market that I've seen says that health and safety regulations are unnecessary. If a company makes a product that kills people, consumers will eventually stop buying it and the company will go out of business. If a company's lack of safety procedures kills its employees, people will eventually stop working there and they'll go out of business.
All of the people who die along the way are an unfortunate but necessary side effect of having a free market.

You seem to be under mistaken impression that "capitalism with boot on its face" is communism. Nope. It is still capitalism, although one that is forced to actually serve all people, not just 1% richest.
Or, more likely, you cannot say anything to that so you play "lol commie" card. I can't say I am impressed.
In fact, if you think result of free, unrestricted, unregulated capitalism is anything else than horrid corrupted hellhole (we have bunch of examples of those around world), you are as delusional as any commie - and pretty much for same reason.
I will have you know citizens of Nordic countries can afford way, way more than Lada.
I guess these nutjobs think they somehow won't be victim of this. This point in fact is general - for example, every wannabe anarchist imagines they will be well off in anarchy, but in reality they will be first to be decoration of skull throne of some warlord.
