Exactly. Which is why he's not really on topic for this thread. Steve Bannon was indicted for fraud. Somehow you want to turn it into yet another thread about Donald Trump. Please don't do that. There's already threads discussing Bannon's relationship to Trump. There's already threads discussing Trumpism in general. This thread is about the allegations of fraud against Bannon. (Really, it should be in T&E.)
Presidential Pardon in 3, 2, ...

FTFY.
And let me guess: You don't trust Donald Trump, and you don't trust Steve Bannon, but you do trust Kris Kobach?
Then "we" would be despicable the way Trump is despicable. Is that what you hope for? What if we hope he gets treated the way trump wants criminals to be treated?
Oh, please, I was not the one who brought Trump into this thread. That was done by three people before I even mentioned him so do not lay that at my feet. Additionally, YOU engaged in it yourself so don't try to lecture me on it:
Bannon’s indictment for fraud makes the news because he is a well known, public figure. He is a well known public figure for a number of reasons, but prominent reasons are his relationship with Trump and his role and influence in the Trump administration. Expecting his relationship to Trump to be ignored in discussions of his indictment would be like expecting an arrest of Ivanka for heroin trafficking to not mention Trump.Exactly. A bet on whether Trump will pardon Bannon is relevant to Bannon being indicted for a crime.
A question of trusting Kobach's claim about Trump's involvement with the fundraiser and the alleged fraud is at least tangentially related to the allegations of fundraising fraud.
It seems like both of those discussions have already run their course. I've already moved on. Since you also agree that there's nothing so far linking Trump to the alleged fraud, maybe move on as well? Maybe you can tell us what usually happens next in the due process, after the not guilty plea is entered. Is it bail? What do you think Bannon's bail will be set at?

There's more to life than weird-ass partisan tit for tat and whataboutism.

Trump about Bannon being arrested: "Well, I feel very badly."
No, you feel bad. If you feel badly it means that the mechanism that makes your feelings work is broken somehow. Come to think of it, I'm sure that's entirely accurate.
The way I've always imagined Stevo winding up. Despicable, ain't it?![]()
Who said we don't need the wall.
Not to digress too far, but why does Bannon always wear two collared shirts, as he did in court today? Who does that? What kind of fashion statement is that? In addition to the awful appearance, I would think it would be uncomfortable. Has he ever explained the practice?
