Sounds like performance art. Stick a webcam on her, and millions would tune in to watch. Monetize it by sticking ads in, and put the money toward the charitable causes other First Ladies traditionally pursue. This could work!

This is an SDNY investigation. I guess that is why it did not get squashed by Barr? It's a bit fuzzy for me, insofar as what Barr can, and cannot, meddle with in regards to SDNY investigations.

Acting federal AG, you know damn well Barr knew about this ahead of time and no doubt told Trump.

I'm betting that Trump will use it to pretend he's not one of the crooks. In reality Bannon no doubt pissed Trump off at some point and Trump never forgets.

When Bannon was building the wall, Trump said something to the effect that the guy was one of his "best students."

I keep falling into the trap of thinking so many of these people are true-believers when they're mostly grifters.
 
So who arrested Bannon? US Postal Service agents of course.

I just tuned in to Trump talking about the wall and Bannon, and the first thing I heard was "I didn't know him..." I don't think in context he was referring to Bannon, but still.

Ya know you almost (almost) have to respect how good the Republicans are finding those tiny pockets of support inside the huge demographic groups they foster suppression and hatred and parading them on stage.

Donald Trump wanted to sell Puerto Rico or swap it for Greenland because he viewed the Caribbean territory as “dirty” and “poor”, a former senior White House official has said.

Miles Taylor, who served as chief of staff to the former Department for Homeland Security (DHS) Secretary Kirstjen Nielsen, said the president made the comments in August 2018 – less than a year after Puerto Rico had been devastated by Hurricane Maria.

“Not only did he want to purchase Greenland, he actually said he wanted to see if we could sell Puerto Rico,” Mr Taylor told MSNBC on Wednesday. “Could we swap Puerto Rico for Greenland because, in his words, Puerto Rico was dirty and the people were poor.”
