Ahhhh a few questions.

1. Why?
2. Speak... about what?
3. Why?
4. Why?

They can't even wield the **** things properly, what the ****? Exactly what about them is supposed to impress Republicans? Like, back when I was Republican I wouldn't even buy a "poor, innocent suburbanite" story on these guys, they have money trouble written all over them (judgmental though it may be).

A retweet is an unambiguous endorsement.

But I'm not sure I'm following the plot. Are we talking re-tweets, or random people tweeting things @ Trump? If the latter, I share your objection.

they are tweets that Trump has read and retweeted on to his time line.
Sometimes he adds a reply, these are posted here as 'Trump Tweets' with his comment followed by the tweet he is replying to .

People forget how divided our Country was under ObamaBiden. The anger and hatred were unbelievable. They shouldn’t be lecturing to us. I’m here, as your President, because of them!

John Kasich did a bad job in Ohio, ran for President and was easy to beat, and now went to the other side desperate for relevance. Good Job by Chris C in exposing yet another loser!

A horrible Governor. Crime is taking over NYC & State, everyone is leaving. He is after the NRA - They should move to Texas or elsewhere, and must get tough. Cuomo killed 11,000 people in nursing homes alone. Crooked & Incompetent!

A proposal by Pentagon officials to slash Military Healthcare by $2.2 billion dollars has been firmly and totally rejected by me. We will do nothing to hurt our great Military professionals & heroes as long as I am your President. Thank you!

But we sure as **** won't let them vote by mail.

Appearing next week at the RNC convention - Guy in a pink Brooks Brothers polo shirt, holding an AR-15 lefty so that the hot spent cartridges can burn his forearm, and his wife with her finger on the trigger of a pistol that she's not firing. Brought to you by today's NRA, which is all about responsible gun ownership.

Trump arriving in Oshkosh says

“And we moved the capital of Israel to Jerusalem. That’s for the Evangelicals. You know, it’s amazing with that the Evangelicals are more excited by that than Jewish people.”

He is obviously confused, but more important, since when is National Foreign policy conducted to get approval from a religious sect??

What's the exact difference between the two? Aren't both mailed?

Absentee ballots are used sparingly by serving service personnel and by elderly white voters and are fine.

Mail in ballots expand the franchise and make it far more difficult to stop people in certain districts from voting.

The mechanism is the same. Universal postal voting in Utah is fine but not in swing states ;)

As to the wife, it is a bit hard to get it right with the perspective, but she might be pointing it her husband’s head - you know, in case there might be an accidental discharge - now that the insurance papers have been signed.

........
Aside: I’m still laughing about the guy who unintentionally shot himself in the balls (with a .45) while intentionally aiming at his junk. Un-******-believable

Trump to pardon Susan B. Anthony, key member of the Women's Suffrage Movement, who was arrested in 1872 for illegally voting at a time when only men were allowed to vote. Tuesday marks the 100th Anniversary of the 19th Amendment, which gave women the Constitutional Right to vote.

:sdl:

Seriously, that's the big announcement?

Wiki: Susan B Anthony vs the United States.

The whole thing was a platform to challenge the denial of voting rights through the courts. She was denied a jury trial then found guilty and ordered to pay $1. She refused and the judge tried to hold her in contempt of court but that had problems:
When Justice Hunt sentenced Anthony to pay a fine of $100, she responded, "I shall never pay a dollar of your unjust penalty",[117] and she never did. If Hunt had ordered her to be jailed until she paid the fine, Anthony could have taken her case to the Supreme Court. Hunt instead announced he would not order her taken into custody, closing off that legal avenue.[118]

So Trump wants to pardon her for a fine of $1 that she never paid.

And she didn't want a pardon for an unjust charge. She wanted a hearing in front of the SCOTUS.

Exactly. And a subset of that reason is that there is little chance that absentee voters are swing voters. But mail-in voters could be, which is a problem because if a swing voters mailed in their ballots three weeks before Election Day, then they would miss out on the spectacular events POTUS has planned for the last two weeks. Specifically, all those announcements:

* a virus cure has been discovered and is about to be approved “in two weeks.”
a stash of money stolen by the Democrats has been discovered and will be returned to the treasury “in two weeks.”
* proof that Obama was born overseas (which will be released “in two weeks”).
* a list of the hundreds of thousands of babies that were born alive and then murdered by abortion doctors has been found and will be released “in two weeks.”
* Obama’s written and notarized confession of high crimes and misdeamenors is in the hands of the AG and will be released (say it with me) “in two weeks.”

And if those don’t work, he is going to reach for the wild, wacky stuff.

I think he needs to read up a bit on the End Times.:p

Hopefully she will enjoy her new-found freedom.

(I have to admit, I'm surprised she hadn't been pardoned before....)
Maybe because a pardon is rather meaningless. It wasn't her name or reputation or even an injustice that needed pardoning. She was challenging the denial of voting rights through the courts. How does a pardon change that? What's Trump going to say at the ceremony, 'the judge was wrong'?

“Did I do a great job, God? I'm the only one that could do it.” Trump boasts how the economic impact of the pandemic is God testing his abilities.

You know what that is? That's right. That's God testing me. He said, You know, you did it once. And I said, 'Did I do a great job, God? I'm the only one who could do it.' He said, ‘That you shouldn't say. Now we're going to have you do it again.' I said, 'OK. I agree. You got me.' But I did it once. And now I'm doing it again. And you see the kind of numbers that we're putting up. They're unbelievable. Best job numbers ever. Three months, more jobs in the last three months than ever before."
