Trump mentions Ilhan Omar's name, prompting the crowd to boo. Trump then asks his crowd in Mankato, "how the hell did she win the primary? ... she's a horrible woman who hates our country, let's check into her mail-in vote."

Bad as the "she's a horrible woman who hates our country" part is, it's the "let's check into her mail-in vote" bit that's really worrisome to me. It's one thing to simply (and simplistically) demonize a political opponent- that's been done since day one- but to suggest that a political opponent's victory is one that, by definition, needs "checking into," is really dangerous. "Hateful" is bad enough in a president; "irresponsible" at that level is just a bomb waiting to go off.

I'm fine with it because of the scuzzy, scummy way he's turned pressers into mini-rallies, inviting fawning sycophants who oooh and aww and cheer. The scuzzy, scummy way he talks to reporters in general, women reporters in specific. The scuzzy, scummy way he praises his COVID response while thousands still die daily.

The tougher the questions the better; if he walks off like a big bloated baby more the better.

He wanted to be President "for life", and he was going to "look into it".

He doesn't want to leave. And, as it gets closer to the date, it frightens me a bit more. The more obsessed he becomes. I almost imagine him foaming at the mouth when he spits lies and absurdity. All of this combined with his pure insanity. I just want it over!

It's not the leaving that bothers Trump (he hasn't really enjoyed Presidenting), it's the losing. He won't ever accept that he looks like a loser, and denying that he lost to the loud acclamation of Fox and his believers will convince him that he doesn't. Observations that he looks like a whining loser will be dismissed as Fake News.

Trump's hyperbolic hysteria is already a thing to behold. And we're yet to hear from Barr's investigation of the Biden family's involvement in Ukraine. Things can only get more heated.
