Trump doesn't know how anything works; that is why his entire method of leadership is the "who will rid me of this turbulent priest?"-method:

tell anyone present what the problem for him is that he wants fixed, and hope that someone will actually do fix it.

Apparently there dimwits gullible enough to think that Donald J. Trump would be up at 8:00 am on a Sunday and that he has the patience to sit through an entire church service.

How does one get the job of WH press secretary?
Do you just send in a resume that says your previous experience includes being press secretary for Reagan, Ford, and Eisenhower and when Democrats were in office you were winning Noble prizes for reporting on how crooked Obama was?

The "dietary guidelines" are not anything but suggestions except for schools. Gee, wouldnt it be nice if our children were healthy? Hmmm..such a horible idea.

For most people, you work your way up through political campaigns and the major political parties as a spokesperson. In her case, I suspect rug burns were involved.

The racist dog whistle about red meat needs to be more shrill. I suspect most Trump supporters won't make the connection with Harris's Indian mother.

I hate it when men call women they aren't on very familiar terms with "honey", "dear", "sweetie", etc. It's demeaning and patronizing. Men are never addressed is such a way.

ETA: The last time a man did that to me, I addressed him as "Snookums". He got my point.

Until a few months ago I would not have hesitated to agree with you. Then we moved to this part of the country. I have been addressed as "dear" and "hon" several times by local female store clerks, bank tellers, and the like. I kinda like it. :)

Don't know how that frowning emoji got there, and don't know how to remove it. I has nothing to do with my response.

There's a huge difference between a casual "Hey Hon" from the Waitress at the Waffle House refilling your coffee and the President of the United States publicly referring to a standing United States Senator and VP Candidate.

I don't. I get it all the time from young female store clerks. It's because they think I'm old and harmless. I actually AM old and harmless, but I don't like being thought of that way.
