I can't stand Bolton. He's the most war mongering politician I've ever seen. But he's not dumb.
 
French radicals of the early republic knew better than to accuse generals of incompetence lest someone blame them for appointing the incompetent general in the first place. They arrested them, accused them of treason, and lopped their heads off.

So Trump is being quite restrained here...

Sure, he wants a war, any war would seem to do. But one couldn't accuse him of lacking intelligence. Trump fired him because he doesn't like people smarter than himself anywhere near him, So he surrounds himself with people dumber than himself. Or at least willing to pretend to be.

And that is a scary thought on it's own.

One might be moved to wonder why anyone would accept a job from Trump. It appears to be career death.

Let's be honest. Bolton's career was dead. In his 70s. He got to act like a big shot for a year and then got paid 7 figures for a boring book. He got what he wanted.

You gotta start with it being projection based on someone close to him. I can't imagine he will go with "Soft-Core Porn Pictures Harris" but I think that's the direction to think....

Well, of course it is not true. That's why you first denigrate the very organizations you profess to respect by calling them "so called American Intelligence". Then proceed to profess your disrespect for "those in our Intelligence Agencies" as to why you were reluctant to "embrace" (trust) them over Putin.

It's like the conspiracy theory aficionados who claim the conspirators must (for whatever reason) put blatant assertions of the truth and purpose of the conspiracy in their messaging. No wonder they love trump, he's the exemplar of their professed 'must put the actual truth in their lies' pathology.

I've seen various desperate attempts from trumpkins at quantifying exactly how Trump is not a racist or sexist candidate, mostly just amounting to "if he's so sexist/racist, why do so many women/Afro-AMericans work for him", and of course "he's done more for African-Americans than any other president in history, because, er, unemployment is low", or feeble whataboutisms.

I suppose they're afraid to admit they just don't care that the POTUS is overtly sexist and racist.

Speaking of projection, he's already accused her of telling multiple lies. He's also mispronounced her name twice that I've heard. He's either stupid or incredibly childish. Oh, wait....my bad. He's both.
