Just like Radical Left New York is trying to destroy the NRA, if Biden becomes President your GREAT SECOND AMENDMENT doesn’t have a chance. Your guns will be taken away, immediately and without notice. No police, no guns!

It does seem like sensationally bad timing to go after the NRA now, with the election looming, since there almost certainly will be a backlash like this.

I'd ask "What is wrong with this man" but there are only so many days in a week. This is so agonizingly stupid. Sadly, many of his base are stupid enough to believe it.

I'm kind of hoping this finally calls the NRA's bluff on how important it is. The NRA has always been presented as this major force, invoked by an alley by the right and a boogeyman by the Left everytime guns come up in the National discourse.

But here's the thing. The NRA's membership numbers, even we take them at face value (and I most certainly don't I think they are massively inflated nonsense) are only about 5 million people. And their lobbying budget is only around 360-400 million. The 20th largest lobbying group in America spends 5.8 billion. They're nobody. They aren't a small fish in a big pond, they are a speak of plankton one of the small fish already ate.

I really hope this shows them to be the small potatoes, even among gun owners, which it should be noted number 20-30% of all Americans, which makes even the NRA's inflated number a tiny fraction.

Our you could be 100% right and this could be an absolute PR disaster. May we live in interesting times indeed.

As much as that sounds reassuring, I'm skeptical, to be honest.
And it doesn't matter that much, for this reason: let's grant that he made those correct predictions; his system really works, then, until it doesn't. And his prediction isn't going to change any of my behavior anyway (supporting candidates, etc.). The consequences are so immense that I'm not going to wind up sleeping any better anyway.
But he's been right eight times in a row... like a lot of other people who were ultimately just guessing, about everything from horse races to stock trading.
If enough people - even pros - are predicting, one of them will be right just by chance.

How can you be sure? And the only one that seems subjective to me is charisma.
Okay, fair enough, let me moderate myself: "he got it right eight times in a row... just like a lot of people who were just guessing".

Because to be fair, he is using an actual system which he might have a lot of faith in.

Joe Biden: ‘Unlike the African American Community ... the Latino Community Is an Incredibly Diverse Community‘ https://breitbart.com/politics/2020...nity-is-an-incredibly-diverse-community-nabj/ via @BreitbartNews. Wow! Joe Biden just lost the entire African American community. What a “dumb” thing to say!

Kind of operating on an assumption that there's no possibility for diversity of opinion in "the entire African American community" about what Biden said here, aren't you, Donnie?

@TomFitton @JudicialWatch uncovered the Clinton Foundation/State Department pay to play scandal. I testified to Congress about it. The documents are on line if the DOJ or the NY AG would like to review them.

Well, you testified before Congress, and, presumably, gave them the same documents and evidence, when the Republicans had a majority in both House and Senate (Dec 2018). How'd that go?

I really hate it when he makes a declarative statement like:
"There's tremendous voter fraud in (wherever) -- you know that."
"We created the greatest (whatever) in the history of the world -- you know that."
"It's going away -- you know that."

No one seems to say "No, I don't know that Mr. President, what's your evidence?"

This obvious used car salesman schtick drives me crazy.

Exactly!! Or things like "some people say you can do too much testing."

I'd love to reply to him when he says things like that with..."Who are these morons?" You should fire them TODAY. Your administration shouldn't have people that stupid in it!

That's why that Swan interview was so unusual. He actually asked viable followup questions. "What books? What manuals?" Yet Trump still managed to shotgun and sidestep those lines of questioning.

When I was in the US Military we were taught never to salute unless both parties were in uniform.

I think Obama actually started the saluting thing. And the President being the Commander-in-Chief, I think he can do what he wants as far as saluting. I find it a nice gesture to his Marines regardless of who's doing it.

Remember when you had a president that had class?

In the RN we only saluted an officer wearing his cap.
No cap, no salute.
An officer on duty would take his cap off when walking about the ship so he didn't have to keep saluting every rating he passed. If he was off duty he wouldn't be wearing a cap anyway.

If that was a Royal Marine he wouldn't have saluted Obama in the first place.

The President's never in uniform and he's the supreme commander. So they pretty much always salute him.

Anyway, that wasn't the point. :(

Then he should wear a cap or some kind of uniform. Like the Queen or Prince Philip have uniforms for military occasions.
The president is a civilian. he shouldn't get a salute even if he is Ci in C for some bizarre reason.

Nope. Obama didn't start anything. When I did a Google image search of simply "president saluting," the top line of image results went Reagan, Trump, Bush 2, Bush 1, Bush 2, Obama. While some pictures are difficult to place in context, there's no question that presidents before Barack saluted in "everyday" type situations like getting off an aircraft.
