Rarely has anybody deserved the death penalty more than the Boston Bomber, Dzhokhar Tsarnaev. The court agreed that this “was one of the worst domestic terrorist attacks since the 9/11 atrocities”. Yet the appellate court tossed out the death sentence. So many lives lost........and ruined. The Federal Government must again seek the Death Penalty in a do-over of that chapter of the original trial. Our Country cannot let the appellate decision stand. Also, it is ridiculous that this process is taking so long!

Somehow the opinion of someone who still insists the Central Park Five are guilty and won't admit he was wrong to call for their execution doesn't hold any weight with me. The appellate court found that there was juror bias against Tsarnaev and that two jurors had lied about it. For someone who professes to be the Law and Order President, he sure isn't concerned with following the law when it comes to the rights of a defendant to a fair trial.

When the **** did Trump ever give a **** about victims' lives?

On his last day as President, Trump might just go nuts and try to get revenge by pardoning every federal prisoner. Tsarnaev is a federal prisoner, tried and convicted in federal court. I don't really think this would happen, but Trump is so crazy he might do anything.

I’m going to take issue with this one. The phrase is used when both the accuser and the person being accused have a common trait.
Because President Obama is not a pathological liar, the metaphor does work.

Yes. Every life has value.
However, President Trump is responsible for what 30,000 deaths? 60,000 deaths?
Three people were killed in the Boston bombing. President Trump is not in a moral position to legitimately criticize murderers, their trials, and their sentences.

To Trump, Law and Order means people he doesn’t like go to jail quickly and people he likes are released from jail quickly. It really is that simple to him.

This is probably the first president who has never read the Bill of Rights.
I’ll admit others have read it and decided to ignore parts. And others have read it a come to a different conclusion about the meaning of an amendment. But up to now, they’ve all at least read it.

As a lifelong criminal, Trump’s only concern is being able to keep working at it so as to stay in shape.

For some reason this intrigued me so I looked into it.

The governor did call a special session to deal with fiscal effects of COVID. The session lasted 11 days, ending on July 19.. I did a word search of all the bills considered, much less passed, in that session. NO bills contained the word "ballot" or the word "mail". Several bills contained the word "voting" but all of them related to how the legislature itself did their voting.

Hard to imagine the SecState is not involved since she signed the proclamation that officially called the special session.

Adam Paul Laxalt was the SecState from 2015 to 2019 and is a Trump toadie.

The rot in the GOP extends well outside Washington, D.C.

I think Trump is hoping Biden won't debate. He's made some pretty outlandish demands of the debate commission trying to stack the deck with his moderators. I'm starting to think there won't be debates but it will be Trump who backs out citing refusal of Biden and the debate commission to accept his demands. It won't matter since much of the country will have already voted by the time of the second debate anyway and there aren't many undecided voters left.

With the exception of New York & a few other locations, we’ve done MUCH better than most other Countries in dealing with the China Virus. Many of these countries are now having a major second wave. The Fake News is working overtime to make the USA (& me) look as bad as possible!

My visits last week to Texas and Frorida had massive numbers of cheering people gathered along the roads and highways, thousands and thousands, even bigger (by far) than the crowds of 2016. Saw no Biden supporters, and yet some in the Fake News said it was an equal number. Sad!

96% Approval Rating in the Republican Party. 50% in new Rasmussen Poll (higher than Obama at this point in time). Thank you!
