Oh. They took it down. Maybe it was accidentally uploaded too early.

Either way, it consisted first of a montage of Trump verbally abusing women, mostly female reporters, and then asking the question of why Trump is suddenly so nice and respectful when talking about the leader of a sex slave ring, and then, with this two-part setup delivered, asks what Maxwell has on Trump.

It's a powerful implication -- that Donald Trump, with his already established history of womanizing, sexual assault allegations, and being caught on tape bragging about forcibly kissing and groping women, is or has also been involved in organised sexual abuse of children.

It reminds me of the Pizzagate debacle, only it's a heck of a lot more plausible. Heck, if Trump's ever mentioned Pizzagate, it might even have been his usual projecting.

Here is a link to it in Twitter that seems to work.

That was almost 4 years ago. What has happened since then?

It was dropped, in short. A just slightly longer version that I found on a quick search is...

The woman dropped the lawsuit in November 2016. Two days earlier, she had been expected to appear at a news conference, but it was abruptly canceled; her attorney, Lisa Bloom, said the woman had received threats and was too frightened to appear.

...which matches with my memory of such. The truth of the matter, of course, is hard to determine in either way as a bystander, but I would say that it's entirely plausible that it happened and that the woman was intimidated by threats from Trump's side into dropping the matter. That pretty much *is* the way he works, after all. Plausible, though, isn't the same as necessarily the case.

Damn, these guys are good. I don't care that they are hypocrites.

Why do you think they're hypocrites?

One of the founders was on a podcast I listen to a week or two ago, and his stance seemed pretty consistent. He was talking about the negative direction the Republican party had been going in for decades, and about how their mission wasn't just to wipe out Trump, but also Trumpism, and all the philosophies and groups that had changed the party to allow Trump to become president.

It's back up.

President @realDonaldTrump: “We will finally allow the safe and legal importation of prescription drugs from Canada and other countries where the price for the identical drug is incredibly lowered.”

President @realDonaldTrump announces that as a result of the Executive Orders he is signing today, "the heads of the major drug companies have requested a meeting to discuss how we can quickly and significantly lower drug prices and out-of-pocket expenses.”

Families across the country are struggling to afford life-saving medication.
I’m glad @realDonaldTrump is focused on this and I’m proud to have worked with him to make sure Americans aren’t paying higher prices for drugs than consumers in other countries. https://bit.ly/SRS_PDC

Pharma stocks finish lower as Trump targets drug prices with executive orders

I'm wondering what his angle is with the drug thing. It can't really be at the behest of the drug company CEOs, because they like being able to charge huge prices for drugs.

Part of me wonders if it's all just hot air designed to get people on his side, and which won't actually be followed-through on at all.

Executive orders that can be ignored ?

President Trump gets to claim that he is trying to act, the drug companies can keep their prices the same......win/win

Real test will be prices to the patient coming down. Lowering the prices for the hospitals and doctors just means they can make more profit.

The new Lincoln Project ad is a winner, even for them

I liked this response to that add:

"THINGS I TRUST MORE THAN DONALD TRUMP :

1) Flint Michigan Tap water
2) Gas Station Sushi
3) Bill Cosby as the bartender
4) Taco Bell's bathroom
5) Tom Brady putting air in my tires
6) A shark with a pet me sign
7) A North Korean trial
8) A fart when I have diarrhea."
