Although I'm not sure what category my ability would fall under.

I can confidently state that I have the amazing ability to negate any psychic or medium.

I can demonstrate this with any psychic or medium.

1- What, SPECIFICALLY, you claim to do as a demonstration of your abilities?
I can successfully negate the abilities of a psychic, making them unable to glean any information from the deceased or by telepathy about me, or members of my family (alive or dead), other than by the guesswork of cold reading.

2- Under what CIRCUMSTANCES?
No special circumstances needed. I only need a psychic or medium to be present.

3- With what degree of ACCURACY?
My success rate has always been 100%.

What do you think? Do I stand a chance of winning?
As a bonus, if I were to be accepted and win, I would donate the money back to the JREF.

A baseline test would be difficult. You would need a psychic to demonstrate their power with you absent, then have their power stop working as you approach. I think you will have trouble with the first part. :)

As I said, "other than by the guesswork of cold reading"

You have to prove that you are actually sending out waves of skepticism which follow no known natural laws, not just applying reasoned observation.

Lets see. Your method would be
1. Find a genuine psychic or medium.
2. Tell them about the $1m prize.
3. Watch them win the money, leaving you with nothing.

I think we have a problem here.

On a pedantic note, the applicant doesn't have to prove the method; proof of effects is adequate. Or so I thought.

hmm...
I may have to rethink this one then

Ive found sending psychics/mediums emails inviting them to take the million dollar challenge seems to make their powers stop working! At least until the next show they do.

On a similar note, I've managed a 100% success rate so far at predicting whether applicants are going to pass/fail the preliminary challenge.

If there have been 14 or more people tested, then I have already exceeded the odds of 1 in 10000 that is generally acceptable for the preliminary trial ;)

Woohoo, million here I come!

Woo - woo- wooot!

Yeah, that's strange. Especially with all the skepticism delivered by the likes of Rita Cosby and Larry King. Oh, wait...

You're assuming 50/50 pass failure odds. I'd have to object to that...
