We will miss GREAT Country Rocker, Charlie Daniels, who passed away yesterday in Hermitage, Tennessee. My condolences to his wife Hazel, and their family. Charlie is in my thoughts and prayers. I love his music! #RIPCharlieDaniels

George Conway saying that it's "EVERYONE", as quoted in that article definitely seems like he's including his wife in that. Mind you, I've long suspected that the Conway's opinions don't differ as much as they'd like people to think, and I suspect that they're both primarily invested in how to best turn everything to their own advantage.

And it's worth noting that Kellyanne Conway is reputed to be the leaker "O. G." AKA "Our Girl" who, most recently, told the press that Trump was privately telling people he was going to resign before the election.
 
I wonder if we'll see any angry Tweets about a "washed-up, has-been, third-rate actor and alleged businessman (not as successful as me!!) who used to understand America."

When someone retweets (and then deletes) a video of a supporter shouting "white power" or calls journalists "enemies of the state," when he turns a lifesaving mask against contagion into a weapon in a culture war, when he orders the police and the military to tear gas peaceful protestors so he can wave a Bible at the cameras, he sacrifices -- again and again -- any claim to moral authority. Another four years of this would degrade our country beyond repair.

Without a moral compass in the Oval Office, our country is dangerously adrift. But this November, we can choose another direction. This November, unity and empathy are on the ballot. Experience and intelligence are on the ballot. Joe Biden is on the ballot, and I'm confident he will bring these qualities back to White House. I don't make a practice of publicly announcing my vote. But this election year is different.

Economy and Jobs are growing MUCH faster than anyone (except me!) expected. Job growth is biggest in history. China Virus Mortality Rate is among the LOWEST of any country. Shaping up for a good third quarter, and a great next year! NASDAQ at new record high, 401k’s way up!!!!

I disagree with @CDCgov on their very tough & expensive guidelines for opening schools. While they want them open, they are asking schools to do very impractical things. I will be meeting with them!!!

In Germany, Denmark, Norway, Sweden and many other countries, SCHOOLS ARE OPEN WITH NO PROBLEMS. The Dems think it would be bad for them politically if U.S. schools open before the November Election, but is important for the children & families. May cut off funding if not open!

As far as I know, he is the only one still calling it that. I even see a lot of reports using the proper Covid-19 instead of the more generic Coronavirus name.
 
Schools in Germany, Denmark, Norway, Sweden are not open.

We're in the middle of the two month long summer holiday.

Schools in Norway did open again just before the summer holiday, but that's because we got the infection under control. The infections in the USA is not only rising, they're rising fast.

I basically think we should sue him for mentioning Denmark, at any time. However, YES, we are far more open than the US. This is because we have VERY FEW cases. Currently we have 17 (seventeen) hospitalized. Even comparing country sizes, this is a vastly lower number than the US. So, of course, we can open more. This should be understandable even to a third grade school child.

Schools start as early as August 10th in the USA, though some won't go back until September. We're not going to have this under control by then and schools re-opening will be like pouring gasoline on a fire. We didn't just elect a horrible president we did it at just about the worst possible time, since WW2 anyways.

Hey we just hit our 3rd million case, and I bet we will hit 4 in no more than 3 weeks.

Sweden did keep their schools open, but I think they should be more of a cautionary tale than someone to emulate.

Schools did open in Denmark and will open again after the holiday, the difference is that we have much fewer cases than the US. So therefore we can better risk exposure.

And those countries which have reopened schools have done so with lots of precautions and so on.

You're right. It should be 0,24 per million. I probably used Netherland's population by mistake.
 
I'm surprised that nobody is talking about the extortion in the Tweet. Reopen the schools or I'll cut off your funding.
